[Bug 909737] [NEW] Launching Nautilus doesn't set focus on the new window
Public bug reported: I have a shortcut to Nautilus in the launcher. When I click it (and do not click anything else after that), Nautilus starts, but the focus is still on the previously active window (in the most cases Chrome). [Bug 909799] [NEW] Evolution helpfully translates folder names when it shouldn't
Public bug reported: When I select the 'Sent' folder in an (IMAP) account as the target for sent mail, Evolution helpfully translates the 'Sent' to 'Verzonden' (Dutch for 'Sent') after selecting it, but as there is no 'Verzonden' folder, of course that subsequently results in Evolution not being able to store sent files in that non-existent folder... The same happens with e.g. the 'Drafts' folder. Although it may be nice to have translated folders configured by default, I think Evolution should not translate a _selected_ folder. BTW: the reason I want/have to use the 'Sent' folder and not 'Verzonden' is that I use those accounts with other mail clients and using software in different languages. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/909799 Title: Evolution helpfully translates folder names when it shouldn't To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/909799/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 740815]
Sorry to revive an old thread, but I wanted to voice my thoughts for posterity. Right now the embedder's story is something like: 1) Look for js-config. If found, use it to find the sdkdir, then do feature detection to figure out what JSAPI version it is. 2) Otherwise, look for libmozjs185 3) ... or for libmozjs 4) ... or for libjs I'm glad to see that the mozilla-central repository has not taken the versioning used here into the library name upstream. I encourage everyone involved in releases not to worry about getting the JS language version involved in the library naming at all. It may often be of much less importance to an embedder whether the language changed slightly as whether the embedding ABI changed, so please stick to ABI compatibility when deciding version numbering for the library and keep one library name. I suspect backward-incompatible language changes are less frequent than ABI changes and much of the JS world is used to feature-testing for language compatibility anyway due to the variety of language versions and features supported by browsers. Furthermore, embedders who _do_ care about the language version can look at the define in jsversion.h. Changing library names just complicates things needlessly. Thanks for all your hard work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-python-extras in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/740815 Title: [FFe] Updates to enable us to drop xulrunner from main To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/740815/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 909808] Re: package libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 0.10.28-1 failed to install/upgrade: 套件 libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 已安裝並設定完成
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Reviewing your log files attached to this bug report it seems that a package failed to install due to a segmentation fault in application being used by the package installation process. Unfortunately, this bug report isn't very useful in its current state and a crash report would be much more useful. Could you try recreating this issue by enabling apport to catch the crash report 'sudo service apport start force_start=1' and then trying to install the same package again? [Bug 909964] [NEW] Image Viewer (eog) causes X to exit with ecrypt errors
Public bug reported: When opening photos which have recently been scanned in, the entire X session occasionally exits and starts again on the login screen. [Bug 909799] Re: Evolution helpfully translates folder names when it shouldn't
BTW: bugs like the following show the same error messages I get, so they *might* be the result of this bug too—or not—difficult to say: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/898413 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/834335 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/778543 Obviously those bug reports can be caused by something else too... [Bug 884856] Re: gnome-keyring integration breaks some GPG functions
My Oneiric fresh install is also affected by this change. My enigmail (GPG for Thunderbird) configuration was migrated from Natty where it was configured to ask for me a password to unlock my GPG key. Now, in Oneiric, enigmail always has access to my GPG key and never prompts me for a password. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-keyring in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/884856 Title: gnome-keyring integration breaks some GPG functions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/884856/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
