[Bug 950648] [NEW] unable to select Use Unsafe Storage when changing password in Passwords and Keys
Public bug reported: when opening Passwords and Keys, right-clicking the default password and clicking Change Password I enter my Old password, and leave the New Password fields blanks, but when I hit OK, I'm unable to interact with the Store Passwords Unencrypted? window. I have the options for Use unsafe storage and Cancel, but clicking on either of them does nothing. I'm not even able to drag the window. It doesn't seem to respond to keyboard input, and I'm unable to tab across. The only way to exit that window is to hit the X to close the window. [Bug 950717] [NEW] rhythmbox: Problems when unpausing a daapd source after long pause
Public bug reported: I find that the following scenario gives weird behaviour: 1. music files are on another host running forked-daapd (precise) 2. daapd source added locally to rhythmbox and playing 3. pause playback (indicator or application) 4. wait (not sure about the minimum here, about 1 hour?) 5. resume playback I had various effects here: - playback resumes for the current song, then stops about the end. Interface still looks like playing (pause icon display in the app) - In order to revive playback, I pressed pause and playback.. Then suddenly there was a search running to get a html/text plugin. After that failed any song I try to start will get the invalid marker (one way sign). - playback resumes for a short time, then suddenly another song is tried to start and another one, and so on in rapid succession. At some point rhythmbox crashed but that time I did not have the debug packages installed. Feels like after a while forked-daapd may reset the connection and present a text error message which is not handled. [Bug 829648] Re: No easy way to turn the sound menu on/off
Nobody knows how often anyone does anything with Ubuntu, so it would be unreasonable to cite that as a reason not to implement this particular setting. Use cases include: * A PC at an Internet cafe, which therefore has no speakers. * A point-of-sale terminal where the only sound is a beep, so it's not helpful to change volume frequently (or at all). * My brother-in-law who has an old Mac in the garage solely for playing music, so the only volume control he needs is the one in the music player itself. I wrote 1. Try to work out how to hide the sound menu not as a problem, but as the step to reproduce the bug. The sound menu is *already* a group indicator, so hand-waving group indicators does not solve anything. If you have a specific alternative suggestion, then present it. But if it's inconsistent with the method of turning off the clock menu and the battery menu, then that will be a strike against it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/829648 Title: No easy way to turn the sound menu on/off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-sound/+bug/829648/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
