[Bug 1154813] Re: Boot broken with initramfs-tools 0.103ubuntu0.5b1
I went through http://codesearch.debian.net/search?q=udev_monitor_receive_device and checked other users of this, and they are all ok (they all call this from a callback). So let's fix this in wait-for-root, and get rid of this Ubuntu specific ABI change. ** Changed in: systemd (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1154813 Title: Boot broken with initramfs-tools 0.103ubuntu0.5b1 - wait-for-root doesn't wait To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/1154813/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1155145] [NEW] IMAP attachments corruption
Public bug reported: On Oneiric Ocelot 11.10, Evolution 3.2.2-0ubuntu0.1 corrupts attachments when saving from IMAP account. It hapens very often on MS Office files (not on all of them), which makes it practically unusable. The IMAP server is local so network latency should not be a problem. Saving attachment from pine and then copying from server is ok, so it's not a problem of the attachment itself. It might be related to the fact that sometimes the IMAP connection hangs indefinitely and has to be stopped. IMAP ping errors are also reported frequently (bad timeout management issue?). Looking for an obvious answer on google, there might be one, but I had no success after a very long search time (and I am not a newbie), so I cannot tell if these problems have been fixed for more recent releases. No update that would fix this has been released so far for Ubuntu 11.10. [Bug 1025508] Re: Some keys in keyboard layout show duplicate character labels
I think the issue has always been present. What the code does is that it prints a label for each key and then 3 modifiers. The patch won't print the modifiers if they don't change the label. So it compares the unmodified key label (POS_TOPLEFT) to the modifier label and if they are the same it skips the modifiers on the label. I haven't gotten a response on the upstream bug and I think they are hoping to replace libgnomekbd. I'll post on the bug again and see if I can get a response. ** Also affects: oem-priority/raring Importance: Medium Assignee: James M. [Bug 950352] Re: Online Accounts UI Missing
I'm experiencing this issue as well, recently upgraded to the Raring Ringtail development branch. gnome-online-accounts, libgoa-1.0-0, libgoa-1.0-common are all showing as version 3.6.2-1. gnome-control-center and gnome-control-center-data are at version 1:3.6.3-1 I tried installing Empathy to see if I could get access to edit the accounts that way but the Account Settings button doesn't appear to work there either. Attempting to launch GNOME Control Center directly into the Online Accounts panel from a terminal or one of the virtual consoles results in an error message stating the settings panel could not be found (as already mentioned verbose by others in this comment thread). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/950352 Title: Online Accounts UI Missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/950352/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 950352] Re: Online Accounts UI Missing
Erp, somehow I had a different version of gnome-control-center and gnome-control-center-data installed than the versions in Raring. Installing the versions from Raring restored the missing Online Accounts panel.
