[Bug 1021581] [NEW] When printing large PDF documents evince sends incomplete output
You have been subscribed to a public bug: When trying to print a PDF document containing many pages (e.g. 15) printing is impossible using either Adobe Reader or Evince. When trying to print the whole document with Evince, the printer only feeds a single paper but doesn't print anything onto it. When trying to print the whole document with AR, the printer symbol appears for a second and then disappears. Printing queue shows no jobs. Printing only one page from the same document works! [Bug 1405818] [NEW] Keyboard layout switch in text inputs cancels the input
Public bug reported: Hello. Having two layout setup, input controls in different places (email text in Chrome, new folder naming upon creation) cancels the input like if I press Esc. I tried different hotkeys for switching: Caps Lock, Ctrl+Shift, Alt+Shift. They all produce the same effect. I didn't see any suspicious output of evdev though. This is another problem to the box of layout switching problems. I don't know if they're related, but they all appear together with Ubuntu 14.04 I think. (First, I couldn't setup Caps Lock, and it is still not smooth enough. Switching is not instantaneous, so I have to wait a second or such until it will actually switch. Sometimes Caps Lock doesn't switch the layout, but locks caps). Walter Garcia-Fontes, thanks for the response. As well, I tested the document you attached, regarding the scope of this report Evince getting stuck at high CPU load this is not reproducible in either Trusty or Vivid. [Bug 891427] Re: Evince's behavoir has changed, now more cumbersome
** Description changed: Open the current file manager in 11.10. Hit F3 to split the screen. Make sure breadcrumbs are visible along the top of the window. In the split pane that *doesn't* have focus, try to change the directory up one level by clicking on the bread crumbs. It won't work.. you have to have focus in that pane to actually change the directory there. Previous Ubuntu releases did not behave that way. - - Evince is also not found in Alt+F2 by typing evince.. It has to be - Evince.. Filemanager or filemanager also brings up nothing. ** Package changed: evince (Ubuntu) = ubuntu ** Summary changed: - Evince's behavoir has changed, now more cumbersome + File manager in 11.10 behavior has changed, now more cumbersome -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/891427 Title: File manager in 11.10 behavior has changed, now more cumbersome To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/891427/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
