[Desktop-packages] [Bug 2047777] [NEW] Large PDF Only Goes up to 17% Zoom

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1630181] [NEW] Solver for Non-Linear Programming Gone in Yakkety
Public bug reported: As the title says. This used to be provided by a separate source package, nlpsolver . This is gone in both Debian Sid and Yakkety. Chris, Thanks for your reply. I think you misunderstand my issue though. The bug report is not about nlpsolver being in a separate binary package/not being pulled out by the metapackage. Public bug reported: The new Empathy Call interface, which is in Universe and not installed by default, depends on libcheese-gtk21 (and build depends on libcheese-gtk-dev ) as can be seen by checking the debian packages (debian does not split call into a separate package): http://packages.debian.org/wheezy/empathy http://packages.debian.org/source/wheezy/empathy And yet, the empathy-call package in Ubuntu does not depend on libcheese-gtk21. I'm pretty sure it looks for libcheeses's presence at runtime, because the Call interface works - I use it regularly - but if you didn't happen to have cheese already installed, and atempted to install empathy-cal, it wouldn't pull in the required libraries, leaving it non-functional. Fix: add libcheese-gtk21 to empathy-call depends. ** Affects: empathy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1016846 Title: Empathy Call depends on libcheese, but dependency is not aknowledged by package Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The new Empathy Call interface, which is in Universe and not installed by default, depends on libcheese-gtk21 (and build depends on libcheese-gtk-dev ) as can be seen by checking the debian packages (debian does not split call into a separate package): http://packages.debian.org/wheezy/empathy http://packages.debian.org/source/wheezy/empathy And yet, the empathy-call package in Ubuntu does not depend on libcheese-gtk21. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 775080] Re: Thunderbird with Firetray/MinimizeToTray - Global menu disappears
Getting told to fix it myself if I don't like a bug. I must have accidentally reported this bug to Fedora... Seriously though, how much money would you need to fix this? I'm sure all the people here can set up a kickstarter thing.. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to thunderbird in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/775080 Title: Thunderbird with Firetray/MinimizeToTray - Global menu disappears Status in Unity global menubar extension for Firefox and Thunderbird: Triaged Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Binary package hint: thunderbird Running thunderbird with the Firetray plugin. Clicking the close button in thunderbird does not kill thunderbird but sends it to the background, but Unity thinks the app is closed (the little arrow(s) don't show anymore). When opening again from Unity, it recognized the app as running, but the menus (File, Edit, etc) fail to show in the top bar when the mouse is brought up there. The only way to get it back is to kill thunderbird and restart it. Disabling the firetray plugin, which doesn't work with Unity anyway, fixes this problem. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 995050] [NEW] .odb files associated with file-roller instead of LO Base
Public bug reported: When clicking to open .odb files, say in the Dash or from Nautilus, they are opened in file-roller, which then complains it doesn't know how to open them anyway. They should of course open in Base. This forces me to open Base first, and then choose the open file option, which works, but isrequires many more clicks than should be needed.
