Use the three little icons on Status Bar at bottom right of OpenOffice window,

 Assuming you mean this page

it is a bit slow but works for me.

It is probably slow, because a lot of po/pot files have been loaded,
without reindexing (command line command). I will if I can get time to run
reindex for all projects during the weekend (normally the project admin
runs the command, because he/she knows when there are bigger changes).

RE: emails to issues list

2014-11-18 Thread Dennis E. Hamilton
As I recall, there may be an administrator function to customize the reject
message when an Administrator bounces a post to the list. Rob Weir probably
knows much more about it.

This would allow a fairly friction-free moderation activity for rapid bouncing
of these misfired message while automatically suggesting that issues be
reported to one of (1) users @oo.a.o, (2) dev @oo.a.o, or (3) the Bugzilla,
with perhaps a link to the web page on how to submit issues, depending on what
the issue is.

I suppose if it is a security matter, then security @oo.a.o could be used, but
folks need to understand about what is a security matter and what is not.
There may be a page about that also.

[This is a drive-by shooting. I'm not administering lists any longer and can't
dig deeper.]

Hi Peter,

selective/filtered responses are not possible for AOO mailing lists. You
can only opt to receive either all or none. If you chose the latter
option, me and the other moderators will let your emails through to the
list and you will be able to track the replies with the public archive
of the mailing list at
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/openoffice-dev/.

Another option would be writing a filter rule for you email client. This
works extremely well with Thunderbird but the web clients of popular
email services are usually very limited when it comes to filtering.

Best regards

If you use Gmail, you can easily create a simple filter that is quite effective
and which works fine with Webmail, at least for me, and I am subscribed to many
lists. Google's Gmail has also been experimenting (and quite well) with
different ways to manage the Inbox. This is all via the Web.

What many of us do is create a special email alias for mail lists and such.

The windows buildbots are setup slightly differently than the linux

mismatch. (???)

Many Apache projects (including AOO) share the huge repository at
svn.apache.org. So if there is a commit in another project then the
revision number of the whole repository is increased. This new revision
number can then be used as an indicator how current a checkout is.

The revision number of the latest commit to a particular project is
another interesting indicator. Unless this particular project got the
latest commit then this revision number is different from the one of the
full ASF repository.

Apparently the Windows build gets named after the revision of the latest
commit in AOO's trunk whereas other builds get named after the latest
commit in the big ASF repository. Both numbers have their merit.
