Re: [Dev] AppM bug

2016-05-07 Thread Thilini Shanika
Hi Jithendra,

2) I published a app and then un-publish it to edit some settings and
saved new settings. Now when I go to publish there's only "Delete" button.

The above mentioned issue is fixed [1] in the staging setup and there's no
need to use the workaround we provided anymore.

Hi all,

I am working on creating a new extension to identity server as various

available at [2].

However when I am building this in a clean repo, its failing and I am

 Hi Asantha,

Great work ! Yes, you will have to manually create the database with
the tables. Then once you create the userstore in Identity Server and point
to the particular database, it should work properly.

Then what you can do here is converting the relational db schema to
collections in mongodb. You can refer the IS_5.1.0_HOME/dbscripts/ location
where all the database scripts are stored. You need to look at only 2 sql
files for the moment. They are the IS_5.1.0_HOME/dbscripts/mysql.sql and
IS_5.1.0_HOME/dbscripts/identity/mysql.sql . Referring these two files, you
can write 2 sql files for mongodb.

Later we can do some modifications to automatically create the database
(if the mongodb userstore is selected to be the PRIMARY userstore)
referring the schema in above 2 files.

 Regards,
 TharinduE

We may not need [1] and [2] anymore since all the extensions are
already moved to individual repos in [3]. If there are objections let me

Re: [Dev] Fwd: Removing is-connectors and esb-connectors from wso2

2016-05-07 Thread Malaka Silva
Most of those were added internally. Can we soon move those to new repos
and close these repos?

This is confusing since there are duplicates.

2016-05-07 Thread Kathees Rajendram
Hi Malaka,

Before removing two is-connectors and esb-connectors repos, we need to
check the open PRs [1] [2] and incorporate the changes to new extension
repo if those changes are required.

[1] - https://github.com/wso2/is-connectors/pulls
[2] - https://github.com/wso2/esb-connectors/pulls

Thanks,

[Dev] [DS] Adding same child for two different parents in WSO2 permission tree

2016-05-07 Thread Megala Uthayakumar
Hi All,

I am working on adding a permission model for Dashboard Server. I came
across following requirement.

Assume there is a permission for accessing designer portal of DS
("Designer-Portal"). Among the users who have "Designer-Portal" permission,
only some are provided with the "Create-Dashboard" and "Delete-Dashboard"
permission. AFAIU according to wso2 permission tree, we need to add
"Design-Portal" permission as a child for both "Create-Dashboard" and
"Delete-Dashboard" parents. But in that case, there will be two different
permissions for accessing same designer portal. I think, it is not correct
to provide the same accessing capabilities using two different permission
level settings.

Is there any way, such that permission tree can have the same child for two
different parents? Any suggestions on this is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Regards,
Megala
