Re: [Dev] Can we use puppet scripts in wso2/puppet-modules for CEP for a distributed deployment ?

2016-06-05 Thread Isuru Haththotuwa
Hi Sajith,

Sorry for the delay in merging this. This was sent at a time where some
re-factoring was in progress for hieradata and puppet modules. As a result
now there is a platform directory (kubernetes, etc.) under the
puppet-modules/hieradata/dev/wso2// directory. We might
need to incorporate this change to the PR. Also, at the moment, we do not
have a grouping by pattern of the hiera files as well. Lets have a
discussion on this before we proceed further to create a new PR.

this an intentional change? Or a workaround for an issue? I'm asking this

make this change in their setups to get SSO working after upgrading to APIm

Re: [Dev] [GSOC 16] Initial Project Progress

2016-06-05 Thread Isuru Haththotuwa
Hi Osura,

You need to test the membership scheme following the same method that we
use for the Kuberntes Membership scheme. Please refer the README [1]. The
only difference is that you will be deploying in Azure.

Please note the parameters that are added to the axis2.xml:

membershipSchemeClassName, membershipScheme, KUBERNETES_MASTER,
KUBERNETES_SERVICES, etc.

membershipSchemeClassName is the fully qualified classname for the relevant
Membership Scheme class that you have written. Carbon will try to load that
class using the class name.
membershipScheme should be 'azure' or any other suitable name
KUBERNETES_MASTER and KUBERNETES_SERVICES are the API endpoint and the
Kubernetes Service Name(s) to be considered in the cluster. You need to
change these parameters according to your case, reflecting the Azure
deployment (using Azure API endpoint and the Network Security Group as you
mentioned in a previous reply, etc.).

Lets have a hangout today at 3.00 PM if you are free at that time to
discuss more.

This is the summary of everything that I have done so far.

Pre requisite: VMs which has WSO2 Application Server running should
have been added to a particular network security group (NSG). In my

 it’s ASNSG

First the java app should be authenticated. Then it query for the
information on ASNSG. Response of that API call includes names of all
 the
network interfaces that are existed in ASNSG. Then each and every
 network
interface is queried using their names to get private IP addresses of

Re: [Dev] GSOC 2016 - Project 21 : MongoDB Userstore Development

2016-06-05 Thread Tharindu Edirisinghe
Hi Asantha,

We might not need implementing the HybridRoleManager... I'll provide you
the exact details after trying out the functionality you have implemented
up to now.

Can you please write a basic document with the steps for creating the
mongodb database and adding a userstore in IS pointing to the created
mongodb database and include in the ReadMe of github repo.

Also if mongodb server is running in a different port other than the
default port, can we still connect to that ? I didn't see a place to define
the port in the configuration.. should it be added as a connection string ?
(didn't go through the code to find what is going wrong)

Thanks,
TharinduE

 Hi Bathiya,

Can you try changing the following config in IS SP and see whether you
are still getting logged as the super tenant.

Edit the API_Manager SP. Under 'Local & Outbound Authentication
Configuration', select the 'Use tenant domain in local subject
identifier' option and save the changes.

 Regards,
 Omindu.

2016-06-05 Thread Harsha Thirimanna
Hi Bathiya,
This option is enabled by default in fresh pack. So unless if some one
un-tick this option manually because of some reason, this would work as
expected for the customer who migrate to the APM 2.0.
In your case, how this option was disable ? Did you disable it in UI ?

 Hi IS team,

I configured SSO as per this doc[1]. I enabled SaaS Application in
store and publisher SPs. But when I try to login as *ad...@b.com
*, it fails with "*SAML response signature is
verification failed.*". But if I remove
 *true
*config from identity.xml adn do the same, I'm logged in as
admin@carbon.super (not as ad...@b.com). This means ad...@b.com can
login as admin@carbon.super even without knowing admin@carbon.super's
 credentials.

The SAML response I get is [2]. Looks like it's for admin@carboin.super,
 which explains above 2 behaviors.

Is this a bug or am I missing some new configuration? Appreciate a
quick response as this is a Blocker for APIM 2 Beta release.

Re: [Dev] [APIM 2.0.0] [IS] SSO is broken for tenants

2016-06-05 Thread Omindu Rathnaweera
Hi Bathiya,

This is the expected behavior. With IS 5.1.0, we have given the capability
to separately specify whether to include the tenant domain and/or the user
store domain in the subject. This setting is now under 'Local & Outbound
Authentication Configuration' section. In earlier IS versions this was
under SAML SSO configurations [1] (Use fully qualified username in the
NameID). Better to mention this in the docs.

So without enabling these options, the SAML response subject will not have
the tenant domain included. And since, there's no tenant domain included,
the assertion consumer service must be interpreting the user as someone who
belongs to the super tenant domain.

Regarding, UseAuthenticatedUserDomainCrypto property, do you still get the
signature verification failure when it is set to 'true' ?

this is going to affect existing customers, as all of them has to make this
change in their setups to get SSO working after upgrading to APIm 2.0.0.

Thanks,

Re: [Dev] [IS] RESTful Fine Grained Authorization-as-a-Service (AZaaS)

2016-06-05 Thread Manujith Pallewatte
Hi all,

After a bit of refactoring I added the code to [1]. Please feel free to
check the source and give your ideas to improve, specially on the service
related code. All the service related code is available at [2]

Also Omindu tested the initial war file and reported several issues with
it, hoping to debug those within the week

 Hi Manujith,

Good progress in getting familiar with the environment.
So let's try to start with the scope of the project too.

Since we are to work on implementing REST service, it is better to go
through WSO2 guidelines for REST service implementation. Please find the
white paper at[1] and the relevant discussion can be found at architecture
mailing list under "REST API Guidelines". Then we can work on defining the
 API definition for the endpoint.

You can also have a look at the existing WSO2 REST implementation to
capture the followed patterns referring the SCIM[2] and OAuth endpoints[3].

Re: [Dev] [DAS] java.lang.NoSuchMethodError when trying to add Kafka Event Receiver

2016-06-05 Thread Grainier Perera
As +sajith mentioned, DAS already have scala 2.10.x packed for spark. And
Kafka packs two binary builds for multiple versions of Scala (Scala
2.10/Scala 2.11) [1]. So, you should use kafka_2.10-0.9.0.1.tgz and copy
it's jar files as dependencies, and when adding dependencies to
/components/lib/, *do not add scala-library-2.10.5.jar,* since it's already
available with DAS 3.0.1

Re: [Dev] [Gmail Connector] Error connecting to gmail connector

2016-06-05 Thread Hariprasath Thanarajah
Hi Maheeka,

For the createAMail operation the required Parameter is raw and it is have
the entire message(eg: to, cc, subject ,etc) and it should be in the
base64url encoded string[1]. From that payload we are getting the "raw"[2]
object and it is in the encoded format, that's why we can't get the
{json-eval($.subject)}. Because in [2] we don't have the json object "

*subject".*
The connector was implemented with above logic(It is in the api
documentaion [1])

[1] -

Re: [Dev] [APIM 2.0.0] [IS] SSO is broken for tenants

2016-06-05 Thread Omindu Rathnaweera
Hi Bathiya,

Can you try changing the following config in IS SP and see whether you are
still getting logged as the super tenant.

Edit the API_Manager SP. Under 'Local & Outbound Authentication
Configuration', select the 'Use tenant domain in local subject identifier'
option and save the changes.

Regards,
Omindu.

+1. I think building a proper jar with the correct dependencies would be
good since that way we can use the latest version of Kafka. WDYT?

Also, @Charitha, can you try putting the scala-library to dropins instead
of lib. From looking at the jar, it already has an OSGi manifest file, so
no need to OSGify it again. Did we try starting the server without putting
the scala-library-2.11.7.jar at all? Anyway, since this is an OSGi binding
issue, there might be some non-standard bundle combinations that can get it
to work. But that wouldn't be a clean solution I think.

Thanks,
Lasantha

Re: [Dev] [Gmail Connector] Error connecting to gmail connector

2016-06-05 Thread Maheeka Jayasuriya
Hi Hariprasath,

I am using the connector's input schema and the default values property
file to set the parameters for invoking the connector's createAMail
operation. However, the parameter values are not picked up by the connector
operation. Maybe the expressions are not correct. Can you please take a
look? If I set as {$func:Recipient} from template parameters it works. It
doesn't work for {json-eval($.subject)} type parameters.

Please find below a sample proxy service. You can use this proxy to verify.

   name="SampleProxy"
   transports="https,http"

   trace="disable"

body"}

{$ctx:TO}
{json-eval($.subject)}
{json-eval($.from)}
{json-eval($.messageBody)}
{json-eval($.cc)}
{json-eval($.bcc)}
{json-eval($.id)}
{json-eval($.threadId)}

 Hi Maheeka,

Since the refreshing access token is automated in the connector, you
 can use following init configuration.

i try to add user to hybrid role i facing a small issue i can't grab the
datasource ,in HybridRoleManager class it need to give java.sql.DataSource
but in my current user store manager class i have never used a sql
datasource(since it nosql) so i think i need to grab the master datasource
of IS which is h2 database datasource, is there a way to get the primary
datasource?

Thanks,

Yes, @Charith you have few options..

1) Build a single jar/bundle by wrapping necessary dependencies and use.
2) Try with Kafka 2.10-0.8.1.1 server

[Dev] [APIM 2.0.0] [IS] SSO is broken for tenants

2016-06-05 Thread Bhathiya Jayasekara
Hi IS team,

I configured SSO as per this doc[1]. I enabled SaaS Application in store
and publisher SPs. But when I try to login as *ad...@b.com *,
it fails with "*SAML response signature is verification failed.*". But if I
remove
*true
*config from identity.xml adn do the same, I'm logged in as
admin@carbon.super (not as ad...@b.com). This means ad...@b.com can login
as admin@carbon.super even without knowing admin@carbon.super's
credentials.

The SAML response I get is [2]. Looks like it's for admin@carboin.super,
which explains above 2 behaviors.

Is this a bug or am I missing some new configuration? Appreciate a quick
response as this is a Blocker for APIM 2 Beta release.

Re: [Dev] [DAS] java.lang.NoSuchMethodError when trying to add Kafka Event Receiver

2016-06-05 Thread Sajith Ravindra
It seems Spark has a dependency on scala-library_2.10.4 and this jar is
already included in DAS pack, therefore copying scala-library-2.11.7.jar as
per the documentation will lead to a conflict. I tested deleting
./repository/components/plugins/org.scala-lang.scala-library_2.10.4.v20140209-180020-VFINAL-b66a39653b.jar
in DAS pack and it fixes the above error. But it give a NoClassDefFound
error in startup.

AFAIU there's no straightforward way to workaround this issue as it
requires to two different versions of the same .jar other than upgrading
the Spark scla-library dependency.

P.S : @Charith if this is for the sake of testing you can use CEP as it has
not scala-libarary dependency.

 Hi,

Currently we have two connector for gmail operations with ESB [1]

gmail connector was implemented by using sdk and the gmailRest
connector has implemented using REST api and gmailRest connector has more
methods than gmail connector and has released with input and output schema
 as well.

Use cases covered by gmail is already covered with gmailRest in
 addition to new methods.

Can we deprecate the gmail connector?

Hi,

I noticed $subject in IoT alpha pack as well as the snapshot version. I

have tried with Samsung Galaxy S4. Is this the know issue? Or I'm missing

Thanks,

Re: [Dev] What is "startingDelayInSeconds" in registry indexing?

2016-06-05 Thread Denuwanthi De Silva
Hi Bhathiya,

startingDelayInSeconds is there to configure the time of delay to start
indexing when the server is starting.
So if you put '60', indexing service will start after 60s when server is
starting.
I think putting '0' will not be a good idea, since it will mean start
indexing at the very moment the server is going to start. Because some time
will be needed for the server to load the necessary services and resources
or mount properly before indexing should start.

Thanks

I would like to add one more suggestion, if the UI is getting built on
Jaggery or if there is a chance on using it, then you can use the built-in
functionality[1] to easily access the user management service.

In default pack, BPS doesn't include

Hi,

I couldn't find gmailRest connector in the store. I think, it is renamed to
gmail connector and the old gmail connector is removed from the store?

Thanks,
Raj.

If you take the processing side, we are converting these properties which
coming as json in to map to perform necessary processing.. And, there might
be slight impact due to json string size but IMO it is negligible..

Re: [Dev] Error while registering UDF method in Spark

2016-06-05 Thread Dharshana Warusavitharana
Hi Nirmal,

Yes this is the nature of jacoco in coverage. We are using offline
instrumentation which adds few data in to classes to determine whether they
are loaded in to JVM

in /src/test/resource directory you have two files called filter.txt and
instrumentation.txt

You can remove any pattern in filter.txt by

-org.wso2.carbon.throttle.core.impl.ipbase.* -org.wso2.uri.template.parser.*
Thank you,
Dharshana.

Re: [Dev] IoT Server - Andriod agent is not publishing light measurements correctly

2016-06-05 Thread Sinthuja Ragendran
Hi Sumedha/Ayoob,

In the graphs I was not able to see the light and rotation sensor stats,
but in the mobile agent sensors configuration, I don't see the rotation
sensor in the list provided, therefore I can think it's not sending and
hence it's not showing . But for light sensor, it's there in the agent
configuration and I have included that sensor as well, also I could see
light the agent display values are changing in the mobile based on the
light intensity. But there is no data for that in the stats, also the DAS
table is empty.

I was trying in both master product-iot (after doing some changes locally
to fix the issue in the stream defn change), and alpha pack, both seems to
have the same issue.

@Ayoob, Andriod version is 4.4.2.

Thanks,
Sinthuja.
