Thanks James, now that's more like it. It's a nice little application
and gives one a better idea of just what they're spending the most time
listening to.

2008-07-21 Thread robroe

I know this is nothing to do with SqueezeCenter and is a last.fm thing,
but I totally agree about having a total time would be much better than
total plays.

I was thinking about this the other day when I found that Sufjan
Stevens was high up my artists as there are loads of 30 second/2 minute
songs rather than longer songs by artists I would consider I listen to
more. Maybe I should get on the last.fm forum :)

Yes it is but only after one click's on the track itself, track time is
not shown on one's main profile page. Looking at profile page one might
think that
I listen to as much, if not more, rock music than I do jazz when in
reality I listen to more jazz than rock. Perhaps iPhone's "Total time"
plugin is a good idea.

What we need is a "slash". Last.FM should list Total Tracks and Total
Time. Have you looked for a Total Time Listened Plugin for Last.FM? I
am going to have a look tonight. There are all those guys that build
the badges, some clever person must have a way to do the same with time
as is done with tracks.
