I have accepted all your changes in appendix A and B and have uploaded them
back to drafts folder. It is not possible to answer all the questions you
asked in the comments in appendix B in email. So I have replied
the comments in the document only. The chapter in the draft folder do not
contain these comments and their replies. I will send you a seperate email
with that file as attachment.

I have finished my review of Appendix B. It was in a very rough draft
state, and I was unable to decide what to do in some cases. I have
left a lot of comments on what I have done and the questions still
needing answers. It is in the Feedback folder.

While working on Appendix B, I found several cases of German words in
Appendix A that I missed when I reviewed it. I have now changed them
into English (with Track Changes on) and placed the file in Feedback.

I have uploaded Appendix A back to draft folder. I have updated the
spreadsheet.

Jean:
The version conflict is not applicable for version 6.2. The paragraph tells
the user that the bug is no more. They should no longer hesitate to do
that. It is for those people who have read the previous version of Base
Handbook and hesitate knowing that there is a bug.

The caution about compatibility issue on page 25 is still true as base even
now uses HSQLDB version 1.8.x while the latest version of HSQLDB is 2.4.1.
The latest version contains more functions than version 1.8.x. So there y
issue.

I have deleted the note on page 28 on which you commented because it is
true that it refers to very old version of base.

After discussion with Oliver, I think after completing the book, we can
prepare the whole book both by stacking chapter and by preparing Master
document. There would be two complete book files. This way there would be
no problem in printing as well as master document.

I have complete the first review of chapter 10 uploading it to the 
feedback folder. The Guide Status has also been updated. I have 
something to do today but will be selecting another chapter either for 
the first or second review tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow is the next meeting

Chapter 6 has been uploaded to the feedback folder
(BH6206-Reports_PK_JHW_PK_DJ_20200315.odt).

This file has 8 typos fixed and no additional comments added.

I had almost added comments on a few paragraphs that spent a lot time on
flaws in the Report Builder but, they are all still there and accurate so,
backed on that.

I don't know about anything summer time. I have used google translate to
translate that part. There is nothing like that in India, from where I am.
Do you think that the portion is incorrect? If so, can you kindly correct
it.

Many of your comments were right and I have edited the content to make them
correct but some of your comment were wrong. I think you are using a later
version of LibreOffice than 6.2.8. This guide is based on version 6.2, so I
h=am using version 6.2.8 and everything is working fine for me. Base itself
has not changed much but writer and calc has changed in the recent updates.

I don't know where I could find the documents you are working at. But
I'm interested in the "out of date material", because I have to change
it also in the original version of the Base-Handbuch.

I have uploaded BG6208 to the Feedback folder. I left a comment on pg 26 
where the instructions listed made it impossible for me to duplicate. A 
rewrite seems to be needed to made with more detailed instructions.

At the bottom or pg 26, daylight savings time was mentioned with a query 
that involves it. Since this begins between March 8 and 16 and then ends 
between Nov 1 and 7, I am not sure that the query is accurate. Such a 
query would be complex since the time period begins on the second Sunday 
of March to end on the first Sunday of Nov.

I have downloaded BG6210-Database_Maintenance for review #1. Given the 
size of the file, this should not take as long as I anticipated when I 
updated the spreadsheet.

I've been reading through Chapter 5 and 6 and I have a general question.

There is a number of asides in these chapters about somethings being
'unfortunate' with regards to design decisions, or open bugs, and I would
recommend all of those comments be removed, but before I mark them and put
them back in feedback thought I'd ask how others felt about that.

No problem.

I downloaded BH6206-Reports_PK_JHW_20200311.odt from the feedback directory
about an hour ago.

There are still a number of comments, about excising parts of the text, in
this file.

However if you have it with changes made I'll not worry about it.

Either way, I'm off to bed in a few minutes and will check back here in the
morning before I do anything with this file, OK.
