Re: [Dx4win] Little problem noticed
Hi Rory, Have you hit the ESC Key after your search? This will cancel the search routine, and reload your log. At least it always has for me way back from V3. 73, Wes, W3SE / ZL3TE > On December 20, 2018 at 1:25 PM k6cks01 wrote: > > > Hi Paul, I noticed a little problem and I am wondering if it can be changed > in the next release. Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN and WSJT-X
Hi Mark, Long time no see. Hope all is well. I don't know of a way to have two programs control the same rig as the rig only has one port. Unless you can configure the CI-V for one port and the serial for another? My Work around is Start WSJT-X first, as that is sensitive and will complain as you have seen. Next open DX4WIN, let it inform you your port is not available, then click through the next 3 dialogue boxes. DX4WIN will open but Without Rig Control. Hope this helps. 73, Wes, W3SE / ZL3TE > On December 16, 2018 at 12:32 PM Mark Weiss via DX4WIN > wrote: > > > I've used DX4WIN for many years. Re: [Dx4win] DX4Win Import Help
Hi Paul, if you are importing your ADIF file, you want your tag to look like this: CQWW DX RTTY 2018 Using your tag: CQWWSSB2018-TEST This will put the info in Notes for this QSO. The number has to match the field of characters including spaces 73, Wes, W3SE / ZL3TE > On November 2, 2018 at 7:03 AM Paul F6EXV wrote: > > > Hi all > I have just tested it. > I have written CQWWSSB2018-TEST in the QSO note field. > In DX4Win version 9.0.4.1976, this note is copied into the "Note for > this Call" field instead of "Note for this QSO". > The origin program (where the QSOs were logged during the contest) is DXLog. > > Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug ? > > Thanks + 73 > Paul F6EXV > > __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Hi Joe, Have you installed all the IC-7610 drivers Before connecting the radio to the USB? In the device manager, are you seeing 2x Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge com ports? these are for the 7610. 73, es GL Wes, W3SE / ZL3TE > On October 30, 2018 at 10:04 AM Joe Stepansky wrote: > > > I've downloaded the appropriate 7610 .RIG files into the Radios folder and > have tried setting up my 7610 with a direct USB connection to the computer. > But however I try I can't get the 7610 to interface with DX4Win (or N1MM, > either, it's not just DX4Win). > > > > Has anyone who's gotten this to work able to walk me through it? Re: [Dx4win] logging ft8 in version 9
Hi Ed, The behavior I have noticed when clicking on spots, unless FT8 is noted in the "Remarks" field in the DX Cluster window, Example: DX de F4GAJ: 7074.0 K0UA FT8 TU QSO... the mode will revert to SSB, as DX4WIN will read the mode from the radio. You will have to manually change the mode after saving the QSO. 73, Wes, W3SE / ZL3TE > On February 3, 2018 at 5:10 PM W1ZZ via DX4WINwrote: > > WHen I click on a FT8 spot within DX4Win v9, the mode fill in FT8, but then > it changes to SSB. Re: [Dx4win] Ver. 9.03
Hi Andy, If this is the same thing I ran into after my upgrade, The date field was not wide enough (DD/MM/). Under File | Preferences | Screen Tab Screen Fonts / Scale Change the Scale factor from 80 to 100. Font size should be 9. LoTW Export has not changed, the process remains the same. I used FAX as my FT8 mode in V8, after importing my log to V9, I did a search (F8) for mode FAX, then in the Logging Window QSO | Multiple QSO operations | Set mode to FT8 this changed all my FAX to FT8. Hope this helps. 73 es HNY, Wes, ZL3TE > On January 2, 2018 at 9:28 PM andyphewittwrote: > > Hi, > > I have just installed 9.03 on my W10 PC and it all seems to be good. Only > two matters worry me.
