Steve, The biggest problem with this is that we can not Reproduce or simulate it, I tested it on more then 10 Computers with different OS and onboard comports And also USB to serial adapters. Thought I had tried this before unsuccessfully, John. Maybe I was thinking of that other logging program I used for a while. Oh well... In any case 8.03 seems to be working just fine using the COM port here. I'm using a standard COM port and Win XP. I would suggest that Peter double check his settings and not assume the configuration from .02 was correctly copied to .03. Hi All, To Debug or solve this problem I like to know what OS people are using. The new driver is ONLY for using the LPT port If needed and has nothing to do with the serial port. As far that I know there is nothing changed in version 8.03 what Is related to the serial port. Version 8.02 works fine. Version 8.03 setup same, but when activated, keys transmitter and locks on. Only way to unkey radio is exit the program. If LPT, did you remember to run the driver install in the drivers directory? I use RTS to supply power to the interface and DTR to key the CW line. I believe this is new in Ver 8.03.
