After I transferred the money they first said that there was a spending limit on my account (NOT TRUE) , then, get this, he said he was sleepy and transferred to the wrong e-gold account. Then he just disappeared (we were on ICQ and is not even answering phone calls!! Any help will be appreciated! The owner of www.fastgold.net said I could ABSOLUTELY trust them! And they gave me his name as reference! [e-gold-list] Re: e-gold for sale THIS IS A HUGE SCAM ASSISTANCE NEEDED
Dear list members, Until now I was a silent observer of this list. I am representing First Digital International Bank, the only bank being active in DGC's. This individual 'Paul' (no further name details known) also contacted us yesterday to exchange 45,000 USD worth of e-gold into goldmoney. He wanted us to do the first step and spend this amount to him:-). I asked him if he was an eCTA-member, which he declined, instead he offered some vague references of other people which I didn't know. So, I suggested that he first spends to us, guaranteeing him to be paid immediately. He didn't do it! Somehow I had some trust, so I spent him 5,000 USD as first step, with the agreement in place that he should immediately spend back to our e-gold account. AFter 5 minutes with no action and no feedback I told him that I will now call up Geoff Turk to get his holding at goldmoney frozen. It was only then that he reluctantly spend the missing 500 gg. Since then he has not completed the original deal. No further message from him. What do we learn? 1. CAVEAT EMPTOR! 2. We are working now to set up an escrow sytem for transactions between market makers and between MM and clients. We will soon come forward with the details. Sure thing I didn't trust you, like you didn't trust me. I have never heard of your bank before, and I don't know much about the eCTA, and who the members are. So if I spent your e-gold in 5 minutes, would I be a scammer? Or you wanted it to be completed in 30 seconds? I've been in business for almost 2 years already and never thought of taking someone. Good Paul (or better Pavel Zarva??), you are operating under a moniker and expect trust A real name which points to a post-communistic individual? I trusted you first yesterday, quite unusual for a bank. You didn't follow through. A bank is a bank, and not an unincorporated entity like goldspender run from some kitchen desk and asking people to wire funds to a personal account ... Get a life! Sure man, but Paul is my real name, not a moniker. I also have accounts opened for names like Elizabeth. Good Paul (or better Pavel Zarva??), you are operating under a moniker and expect trust A real name which points to a post-communistic individual? I'll vouch for Paul's integrity, with the observation that he's been running his business for almost a year, or so, (maybe longer), without any serious problems. That's quite an indication of trust. I will also say that I've never heard of First Digital Bank, either, and given that its representative seems to make personal attacks, I would be far less likely to suspect that this individual has the honesty and integrity for which he seems to strive. Your real name is Pavel Zarva, as indicated by you in your emails with your banking details. I do find it hilarious though, that a Montenegro bank has a derogatory attitude towards 'post-communistic' stuff..;o)) marco - Original Message - From: GoldSpender [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: e-gold Discussion [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, June 07, 2002 2:53 PM Subject: [e-gold-list] Re: e-gold for sale THIS IS A HUGE SCAM ASSISTANCE NEEDED Sure man, but Paul is my real name, not a moniker.
