[e-users] Entropy extractor error

2006-09-28 Thread sitarane
Hi,
I've been running DR 17 CVS on Kubuntu Edgy Eft since Knot 2 (and on Kubuntu
Dapper Drake for weeks before that).
Entropy won't compile on my system, lest I add the --enable-plugin-extractor=no
parameter to the autogen command.
Everything else compiles flawlessly.

Entropy config is OK:

Configuration Options Summary:

  EWL plugin..: yes
  ETK plugin..: yes
  Thumbnailing: yes
  Imlib2..: yes
  Extractor Plugin: yes

Installation Path.: /opt/E17

Compilation...: make
Installation..: make install

Compile error:

make[2]: *** [metadata_extract_la-metadata_extract.lo] Erreur 1
make[2]: quittant le répertoire «
/home/philippe/cvsE17/e17/proto/entropy/src/plugins »
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Erreur 1
make[1]: quittant le répertoire « /home/philippe/cvsE17/e17/proto/entropy/src »
make: *** [all-recursive] Erreur 1

(More output here: http://perso.orange.fr/heliotopik/misc/entropy_error.txt)

Thanks for any hints.

[e-users] Questions...

2006-09-28 Thread Alejandro Salas
Hello everyone,

I have a couple of different questions:

1. Is everything all right on the CVS?. From a month
ago or so, my E17 is a bit screwed up. It doesn't
remember things correctly, from time to time some apps
are not able to detect shortcuts, etc.

2. Which of the two engage projects is the current
one? Which one should I compile?

3. I know this is not the right place to ask this,
sorry :-(. I'm looking for a software that allows me
to record what is happening on the screen. To do
software demos, etc. I once saw a couple of video
demos that rasterman did a long time ago.

Thanx and sorry for the bother.

Everything seems to be good at the moment. But that may change at any
time.

Pass

tells you who to contact with gentoo build issues? (sorry - first thing in the
morning on jetlag and i read a mail that has very obvious and explicit messages
telling you basically not to send it - so what is the point of ever writing
documentation if people never read it or obey it?)

 Thanks,
