Doesn't seem the same applet I had before, but it works and I'm happy. :-) The e applet is from connman, rather than networkmanager. Do you have connman installed and is it running? With connman running and the relevant connection manager module loaded I get an icon to manage connections from. There is also an e-conmman module. I find the default theme too dark, that's why I had changed it... I'll try to get used to it now, it's better than not having a systray. Thanks everyone, Massimo and Mick, it's all working now thanks to your help. :) This is how I would go about it. Set the default theme as you want it. Create a back up of .e. Then change your theme to whatever you prefer and hold your breath. Some themes are compatible with the default because they have active maintainers, others aren't. So YMMV depending on the theme. -- Regards, Mick -- ___ enlightenment-users mailing list enlightenment-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users

I'd like to see this checking disabled per call only, not globally. Then only bindings for safe languages would use it. I'll leave the safety checks turned on. They're worth. Also, EFL is for GUI only and heavy computing sensitive data can be implemented without negative impact by just not touching EFL (temporally). I disagree with that. Parts of EFL are not specific to GUI stuff, like Eina data structures and the functions to manage them, logging, file manipulation, executable running, etc. Even EFL based thread support. I use EFL in applications that don't have a GUI, using those sorts of things. In fact I do heavy computing using those EFL data structures and threading. -- A big old stinking pile of genius that no one wants coz there are too many silver coated monkeys in the world. -- ___ enlightenment-users mailing list enlightenment-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users
