it may or may not be an e issue, I haven't tried MATE desktop in weeks,
e just works, except for 1 little annoying feature in thunderbird, I
have lost my slider arrows, and when I click either very low or very
high in the slider bar area, it doesn't just page down, it takes me all
the way to the bottom/top of the folder list..

but the crash (f1 thing) is an e issue. this is of course where we ask you to
try e from git - it is now in feature freeze for e20 release and tbh - i see
 no
such issues in e20 so i guess the bug is long fixed in git and will be in e20

but you should try to confirm this yourself by trying.

in Fedora, I just did a dnf install enlightenment. How do I install
e20?? I didn't realize you were beta testing e20, I love beta testing!

 Hi,

Today the FPS: n.n overlay was on, and I did not turn it on. What can
cause this debug display item to turn itself (or be turned) on? Could
an application set that on? I see nothing in the key/mouse/acpi
bindings that might have let me fat-finger a hotkey or something. I
was able to turn it off in compositor settings, (thanks herdsman) but
it's curious to me that it was on. Thoughts?

Sourceforge has been unstable for the last few months, with a few weeks
(like this one) of it being very unstable/unusable. The list wasn't
working for a few days. We already have the infra for running our own
ML, maybe it's time we switch?

Added our sysadmin beber to cc. Beber, anything to add?

these are different issues. chrome locking is ain internal crome problem of
some sort - e is not involved. don't make to repeat myself and go into yet more
details. maybe chrome simply has a different codepath when running when e is
around.

but the crash (f1 thing) is an e issue. this is of course where we ask you to
try e from git - it is now in feature freeze for e20 release and tbh - i see no
such issues in e20 so i guess the bug is long fixed in git and will be in e20 -
but you should try to confirm this yourself by trying.
