it more likely is gettign strings. eet changed so now empty strings by default

the thing i noticed not working was stuff like this (which used to work):

program {
name:  dock.toggle.click;
signal: mouse,clicked,1;
source: dock.toggle;

script {
if ( get_int(main_state) == 0 )
emit(show, main);
else
emit(hide, main);
}
}

program {
name: main.show;
signal: show;
source: main;

script {
set_int(main_state, 1);
}

action: STATE_SET visible 0.0;

target: background;
}
program {
name: main.hide;
signal: hide;
source: main;

script {
set_int(main_state, 0);
}

action: STATE_SET default 0.0;

target: background;
}

watching the output of loading the .edj with the edje command in a
terminal, get_int appears to always return 0 as it is always the show
main that is emitted

Hi Friedrich!

I just did a grep -R -i 'xmms-config' and replaced everything there
with beep-config. in src/xmms.c I just replaced
# include xmms/xmmsctrl.h
with
#include beep-media-player/bmp/beepctrl.h

also replaced gtk1.2 and glib-1.2 stuff with gtk/glib-2.0

then re-ran libtoolize and autogen. Anyways patch is here:
http://gimpel.ath.cx/~tom/eloquence-beep-0.4.patch , but note that it
breaks xmms support!
That was more a good luck work than really knowing what i did, cause
i'm no coder and knowledge is limited to the VERY basics..

And yeah! eclair support would be very awesome too! :)

Regards!
Tom

Hi!

Thanks for good piece of code (and your help in e17 modules development :)!

Just tested 0.4 - cool!

Only 2 things:

After theme change, position of module is reset back to predefined location (on
top of pager module)

To successfull compilation, i was needed to add -I/opt/e17/include
-I/opt/e17/include/enlightenment to
CPPFLAGS line in src/Makefile

But anyway, it's hell COOL ;)

Thanks,
Dan

try to build support for it directly into eloquence

 also replaced gtk1.2 and glib-1.2 stuff with gtk/glib-2.0
I don't know if that has to be done, glib is only included for having a
variable of type gint, so gtk1 should be enough and is more likeley
installed maybe on many systems.

I believe the biggest problem is my insufficient knowledge of all the
funny makefile stuff, the idea is to let configure check if beep media

the menu to select the player...i'll see...

get an entry point...

First of all, I'm also very new to autoconf and automake. So perhaps I
am totally wrong.

I think it's not important if bpm or xmms are install, but if
xmms/xmmsctrl.h and/or beep-mediaplayer/bmp/beepctrl.h exist.
To check the header files add this line in your configure.in:

AC_CHECK_HEADERS(xmms/xmmsctrl.h beep-media-player/bmp/beepctrl.h)

This autoconfig macro defines
#define HAVE_BEEP_MEDIA_PLAYER_BMP_BEEPCTRL_H 1
and/or
#define HAVE_XMMS_XMMSCTRL_H 1
in youre config.h if you have got the header file(s)

To use this macros, you must only add
#include config.h
in your source.

And now you can easily check them in your source.
e.g.:
#ifdef HAVE_XMMS_XMMSCTRL_H
  #include xmms/xmmsctrl.h
#endif

I hope I could help you a little bit

peat
