Registration is now open for the 3rd edition of Rising High in Delft, The Netherlands. Registration will remain open until 1 February. All information can be found at www.rising-high.nl. [ED] Rising High 2013 - Registration is Open!
Hello Eurodiscers/Brit Discers, Registration is open for Rising High and Rising Hat in 2013! This is an ultimate tourament held in Delft, The Netherlands and this year we will be on Pentecost (Pinkster) weekend(18-20 May). Rising High will have a women's and open division. We are able to host 20 teams and will split between the divisions depending on registration. It is the perfect opportunity for those who did not make it into Tom's Tourney or GSpot, as it is close by both datewise and distancewise and is also a really good time. Registration for Rising High is on FFINDR Registration for Rising Hat (Free for all!) is on the Rising High Website Basics Saturday, 18 May will be an optional (though highly encouraged) free hat tournament (Rising Hat) to meet everyone coming to the tournament. Games will run from around 12:00 to 18:00 Sunday-Monday, 19-20 May will be the official Rising High tournament with both a women's (unofficial Dutch women's cup. Foreign teams always welcome) and open division Video Just like in previous years, every team will get a full-length HD game video edited and posted to vimeo. See the videos from last year. [ED] Rising High still looking for a few more teams
GSpot, Tom's and Windmill have all released their selections with a bunch of teams missing out on a nice tournament in the Benelux region. We still have a few more spots in our tournament, Rising High in Delft, the Netherlands for teams looking to fill that void. Takes place on Pentecost weekend (19-20 May) with an optional hat tournament on 18 May. Registration is closing in a couple days but we will likely continue to take teams in up until we fill up (we can host 20 teams total between our open and women's division). Rising High registration officially closed last weekend and we awarded 16 open teams spots and we got 8 women's teams signed up but one team had to cancel. If there are any teams looking for a fun, international tournament in Delft, the Netherlands then please go ahead and sign up your team. After quite a few dropouts, Rising High is looking for an open team to fill in at the last minute. All details are at www.rising-high.nl Since it is so last minute, we can offer a free team fee , so you only need to pay 40 Euros per player. Main info: Where: Delft, The Netherlands When: 31 May - 1 June (optional free hat tournament on 30 May) What: 16 open teams/8 women's teams. Each team will play 4 games on Saturday of 50 minutes and 2 games on Sunday of 65 minutes. So far teams from The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain and France are joining. Come join in on the international fun. How much: 40 Euro player's fee includes ultimate, camping, food all weekend (good organic meals), tournament party and a lot of special extras.
