Why would you ever need reed switches of such a size?

All reed switches that I know of have limited E/I/P ratings. If you need more
than about ten watts or half an amp or 100 volts, you have to drive a relay
with the reed switch.

Again, what's with the desire for "large?"

That said, my go-to source for reed switches is Electronic Goldmine:

I have some of these, and they're the biggest reeds I've ever seen, but they're
still only about a third of the diameter of your pinkie.

You might find Hall Effect devices could be better for your application. They
are much more sensitive than reed switches, and you could stick one in a
finger-sized package, and still drive it with smallish magnets.

For a "largish diameter" coil, you might try a solenoid with a removable
plunger.

Or if you use a Hall Effect sensor, a few turns of wire around it should
suffice. 8 milliteslas trip:

I've never seen a reed that large. If it was, it would be able to switch
10s of amps. It was cheaper to use conventional relays for such
currents, so I don't think anyone made them.

Is this for a demo? If so, you could build one yourself in a test tube,
with a couple pieces of flat spring steel at each end. Holding a magnet
or electromagnet near it will make them attract each other and touch.

One of these:
https://www.digikey.com
https://www.mouser.com

If they exist, one or both of these will have them. Although I have never seen
a reed relay that large.
