Hi, just to clarify, the 3.36.2 works properly for you, the messages from one account are forwarded using that account and message from the other account are forwarded using the other account, right? I finally have got to this and tested it here and it seems to work properly for manually invoked filter rule, which simply forwards the selected message. Hi, as had been said several times on this list, the Flatpak version runs in an isolated sandbox, it doesn't run on the host as the installed version from a package provided by the distribution. The sandbox has its pros and cons and you may decide whether it works well in your use case. The path for the files is similar, but in the sandbox, not from the host system. You can create a backup of your setup in the host system and restore it in the Flatpak version. These two can work side by side, they only cannot be run at the same time and they do not share any data (remember, it's in the sandbox). Nonetheless, I suppose the freenet account is the default account (as can be seen in Edit->Preferences->Mail Accounts), while the vivaldi account is not. Is the forwarded message received in a folder, which is dedicated to the vivaldi account (being it IMAP, then in its IMAP folder, possibly Inbox), or it's in a folder of another account (or On This Computer)? These things play a role in the way of the send account guess. If I'm not mistaken, you might get preselected the same From account when replying "manually" to the message from the same folder (aka the one before filtering it). It seems to be that for forwarding a message by a filter rule, only one and the same of my accounts is used to forward the message. It's from freenet and the authentication is successful: [SMTP] Connecting to server mx.freenet.de:587 from account 12...90 ... [SMTP] received: 235 Authentication succeeded But as MAIL FROM adress the expected sender is used (which is different from 'SEnding with server', Thus authentication failed: [SMTP] sending: MAIL FROM: [SMTP] received: 553 Incorrect authentication data. [SMTP] sending: QUIT As a result only forwarding messages by filter rule which origins from the freenet account are successful.
