Responsibilities:

. Participate in a team comprised of client and solution
implementation staff to deliver a data mapping inventory of all current
client's transactional systems which will be used to define master data
source and provide configuration mappings. Identify all current databases
utilized.

. Develop data dictionary, meta data definitions, and relationships
between the current transactional database configurations.

. Assess data redundancies between databases; Assess data quality;
Map existing data to new data dictionary for shared master data components.

. Assist with data cleansing reference table enhancement based on
attributes in current databases to standardize across systems.

. Data cleansing of agreed upon key master source data with
analytical tools and external third party products for specific data types
(address, locations, etc.).

. Data Architect will define, drive, and manage enterprise Data
Strategy and Roadmap for the organization.

data models for information management strategies. 

. The Data Architect develops strategies for metadata and master
data management, operational and analytical reporting, data archive and
recovery, and implementation and operation of database technologies for the

. Performs work that is highly complex and varied in nature.
Develops integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and
business issues. 

 

Skills Needed:

Responsibilities:
. Advising development and product teams on best approaches for required
data model extensions and/or changes.
. Hands-on Oracle development and application in ways that are consistent
with the Curam framework and Oracle best practices.
. Collaboration with Oracle administration team to maintain test, staging,
production databases and the development of operations procedures for
database management.
. Developing and executing a data migration plan from the existing Medicaid
Eligibility Determination System (MEDS) systems (custom built mainframe
application with IDMS datastore).
. Coordinating with outside entities, including vendors for other
systems/services, providers, and professional associations.
. 24/7 on call support on a rotating schedule.

Skills Needed

. Proven Oracle DBA experience in managing and supporting enterprise
applications in a Unix/Linux environment, preferably Redhat Enterprise
Linux.
. Experience with Oracle RMAN
. Experience with Oracle Active Data Guard
. Demonstrated success in supporting a development team implementing
primarily web-based solutions using Oracle as the database.
. Understanding of IT development and implementation projects.
. Understanding of database scalability and operations.
. Project planning experience, including effort estimation on technical
tasks and resource allocation.
. Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to
give presentations to project management. Strong proficiency in English is
required.
. Impeccable integrity. This project will have very high visibility and will
impact significant expenditures of public funds. Candidates must be
confident with their abilities to make correct decisions and the courage to
speak out when necessary.
. Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and
organizations on a continuous basis. 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree in a technical, business, or field. Masters degree is
desirable.

 

Preferred

Oracle training/certification from a recognized source is beneficial.

·  Requirements gathering, analysis, programming, problem
resolution, technical and system support production support in multi-tier
and multi-user network environments.

·  Implement Business Intelligence environment which includes
architectural design, development, testing of Data warehouses and BI
Reports.

· Extensive use of *SQL Server databases, SSIS, SSAS, TSQL*scripting.

· Business analysis, ETL and report development using Analysis
Services OLAP.

· Multi-Dimensional cube design, development in SSAS. Write complex
scripts in MDX to generate the result data sets from the OLAP cubes, for
report rendering in web applications. Experience in using XML.

· Netezza knowledge is added advantage
