[FairfieldLife] Re: Sten Sjoestedt was: 'I want to apologize to the group...'
I know the same people as you that was sent home. One of them do not dare to meditate TM anymore, and is now in another organisation, using another meditation tecknique. It's not that they did not want to do something but that their opinion was that going home for a while would prove to be effective, after an initial period of medication. And they are right, I've seen the effect of going home on 2 people I know. Within a few years at home they were OK again.

These doctors that you refer to in the Purusha - were they rounding as well? or did they think as usual it is only unstressing - . Who was responible for the people that went out and in of pshychosis at the course? When I learned TM i 1962 - we were sitting meditating for hours - it was crazy and people got crazy. We have had our incidents with suicide and pshychosis in Norway as well. MMY was aware of it and I would think that he should have learned something through the years. [FairfieldLife] Re: Sten Sjoestedt was: 'I want to apologize to the group...'
I'm afraid many people are scratching their heads in agony how to pronounce 'sjoestedt' (sjöstedt). You can hear the pronunciation of 'sj-' here (in the word 'sjok'): http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/54/Sv-sjok.ogg Perhaps the grapheme sequence 'shir' would be closest to 'sjoe' (sjö, meaning 'lake')...

I know I was...wore a hole in my scalp from all that scratching. Wow, that's encouraging Nabby! It only took a couple of friends of yours a few years out of the TMO atmosphere to return to some semblance of sanity again. --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, nablusoss1008 no_re...@... wrote: --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, Rick Archer rick@ wrote: From: FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com [mailto:fairfieldl...@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of nablusoss1008 Sent: Sunday, August 01, 2010 5:26 PM To: FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com Subject: [FairfieldLife] Re: 'I want to apologize to the group...' --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com mailto:FairfieldLife%40yahoogroups.com , WillyTex willytex@ wrote: For Joe: Conny Larsson, 'God's Little Clown' (Color photo ownership unknown) Yes, please believe everything this clown writes. Let me rephraise that post: It was heavy rounding up to 14 hours (or much more) that made a few overly sensitive fellows become unbalanced. This long rounding was not autherized. Yet some would be prone to do so anyway and would sometimes run into problems. [FairfieldLife] Re: Sten Sjoestedt was: 'I want to apologize to the group...'
OK, well let me ask: did this rounding occur on a scheduled TMO course? When you say it was not authorized, do you mean that it was a situation other than the norm for that timemeaning the rounding of Fiuggi, Mallorca or any of the Switzerland courses? When I say the TMO atmosphere I mean the vibe surrounding those participating in these courses. I believe you know exactly what I am referring to. --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, nablusoss1008 no_re...@... wrote: Let me rephraise that post: It was heavy rounding up to 14 hours (or much more) that made a few overly sensitive fellows become unbalanced.
