There is no one person who started anything, Maharishi or otherwise, lest it's
something Like Guru Datta or Samanthabhadra, who may have been said to stopper
the lineage of all gurus at the top. At any rate, all this life is not created.
It has never risen from the unmanifest even for a moment. This is the truth.
Noone has created anything, and nothing has been created. All form is noted
peripherally as it comes from the formless and returns to it. Not created by
anyone, not harmed by anyone, not realized by anyone better than anyone else.
If you get this then your mind and body will become as a lozenge placed into

My take is obviously biased, but from my POV the few hard-core TMers

All the nonsense about train whistles, south entrances, encouraging

have as a common theme attempting to put the needs of a favored few

Instead of trying to add to the nice atmosphere, they try to create
isolation and use magical thinking as a substitute for any creative or

Rick, that's misleading. The *only* people pushing it are hard-core
TMers, everybody else is fine with it, including long-time home owners
living right next to the tracks. It's no better or worse than whistles
anywhere else in the US. There's nothing inherent about FF that makes
the whistles louder. Masquerading as somehow protecting the poor, when
the TMO has a history of caring less about anyone not wealthy, is
really dishonest. Anyone of those TMers pushing this knew when they
bought their houses that they were near the tracks. And they could
easily move.

A few years ago when this came up, at least one of the city council
members went to a lot of trouble to get information (a lot more trouble
than anyone who was pushing it, as far as I knew) and they were given a
very thorough and fair hearing from the Council who then voted. It was
determined that the huge inconvenience and expense to nearly the entire
town, including many closed streets that everyone uses, would not be
worth whatever the benefit in noise reduction might be. I'm sure you
remember that.

anywhere else in the US. There's nothing inherent about FF that makes
 the whistles louder.

True, but many communities have installed the equipment to eliminate the
whistles. They must have had their reasons, and from what I've read, they
were happy with the decision.

Masquerading as somehow protecting the poor, when
the TMO has a history of caring less about anyone not wealthy, is
really dishonest. Anyone of those TMers pushing this knew when they
bought their houses that they were near the tracks. And they could
 easily move.

For me it's not a TM issue. If TMers are pushing it, that's coincidental. Or
maybe they're fussy. I don't care. Train whistles are not a life or death
issue for me. I just think that silencing them would be one more thing which
would enhance the quality of life here. Of course, if we wait long enough
and alternative energies really take off, so that we stop burning coal,
there will be very few trains coming through, so the issue will be moot.

I do, but from what I understand of the current effort, the expense wouldn't
be that great. Bill Blackmore is coming up with some clever ideas for
covering it. And only one or two seldom-used streets would be closed.

 will try to present
 my own

 morn with
the community as we let go of the greatest
 meditation teacher that
 this planet
has seen. With all of the controversies that
 surround MMY he is
 still very
  difficult to replace.

My visit to Fairfield for eight days from Jan 8th
 to 15th was very
  interesting. I experienced the conservative
 fundamentalist attitude
 from the dept of
cons. and the more liberal feeling from the
 Farifield community. I was
impressed with the wide spectrum of experiences in
 the spiritual and
 artistic realm
of life. I have friends on both sides of the
 fence. I do understand
 what has
been going on in the TMO and how some people have
 been isolated by
 following
their own inner voice. My biggest problem is the
 strict guidelines
 that turn
away Sidha's from the dome. Also, the meditators
 continue to be put
 to the
side as if they are less than in comparison to
 the Sidha's. This is
 the wrong
approach. I have been told by Saint Anthony who is
 channeled through
 a dear
friend of mine that Maharishi did not set up the
 guidelines for the
 department
for the development of consciousness. That the
 leaders in America of
 the TMO
set them up. That Maharishi is tired of dealing
 with these issues.
 Personally
I think Maharishi should deal with these issues
 and clear them up
 now. I am
also in the process of making contact with a top
 person in the TMO
 to let
him know what it going on in Fairfield Iowa. Many
 of MMY leaders
 forget what
its like in the real world.

As I meditated and did my Sidhi's program out in
 my rental car in the
parking lot of the domes I got a good dosage of
 what its like to be
 judged for
being an astrologer, yoga teacher and a teacher of
 meditation. You

is Lou even doing this? Putting himself in this
 position? Because I
 needed to
experience first hand what goes on in the

The TMO will not change. You are correct but what will change in Fairfield
is much more in alignment with spiritual community. And when the time is
appropriate, my home will be open to everyone at Fairfield. The group program
will
involve everyone's group. Group meditation for everyone not just TM. Not
just Ammachi. Not just SSRS. The second wave of spirituality in Fairfield
presently will turn into a third wave which merges all of the energies
together.
This way we are all one big family. I was told that I could not attend an

feel exclusivity is the norm regardless if its the TMO or any other spiritual

I enjoy the non-dogmatic approach of Mother Meera. And I forgive Sathya Sai

I see what you mean. The closer you look, the worse it gets:

 http://www.saibabaexpose.com/fecris.htm

Maharishi just wanted to change the world by telling it to relax, because
 in fact he wanted
everyone to become TM meditators, regardless of whom and what they were.
 He made
people feel so welcome but his ultimate aim, which I only began to
 understand after 1975
when I left the organisation, was to create a world government and, until
 today there is a
parallel world government run by Ministers, Maharajas and Kings with
 plastic crowns and
mantles as in the Middle Ages. The fact is that they believe this and they
 are not just
anyone, but well educated people, psychiatrists, doctors, ministers,
 psychologists, all
those people that today appear on the famous TV show run by Oprah Winfrey.
 Her
sponsoring of the movement brings them much success through trumped up
 support from
famous doctors and publications. You can all connect to the Maharishi
 Satellite Network:
there is a very important 24h a day Channel and there it is very easy to
 see what is going
 on.

Why did I leave this organisation? I began to wake up when he declared
 that Mother Teresa
was the worst kind of human being on earth. She later won the Nobel Prize.
 His main
problem with her was that he wanted the Nobel Prize for himself. I was
 told to manipulate
those responsible for choosing the people to be nominated. We tried to do
 this and
succeeded, as he had much influence at that time, to get him nominated but
 this was
blocked by King Olaf of Norway.

He then started saying that all his teachers, I was one of them, were soon
 going to levitate.
We were going to fly and we would visit all kinds of planets about which
 the psychiatrists
and other spiritual teachers were always telling us. I realised that this
 could not be true as
I taught these courses. They called it the TM-Sidhi Programme. At these
 flying courses
people would be sitting cross-legs on their backsides on their mattresses
 and they
jumped whilst sitting like this. After a while one could become very
 skilful and could jump
up as high as a metre or so only to fall back again. I heard Maharishi
 tell a French
photographer with a slow camera just to cut the fall back part and put
 the photos
together when they were up which gave a flying image. So he put them
 together and this
was broadcast all over the world.

Easy does it. Sai Baba is not a petafile. If you are so certain that Sai
