My take is obviously biased, but from my POV the few hard-core TMers
still here seem to live only to make life more difficult, both for
themselves and for anyone else in the town, at least whenever possible.
All the nonsense about train whistles, south entrances, encouraging
everyone to move to VC, skimming $$ off of the school tuition, etc, all
have as a common theme attempting to put the needs of a favored few
above anyone else's, and to heck with common sense, or even laws.
Instead of trying to add to the nice atmosphere, they try to create
isolation and use magical thinking as a substitute for any creative or
lasting solutions. Since there's no way they can stop the onslaught of
spirituality that's come here, they simply pretend it doesn't exist. At
least they're not taking down license plate #s or calling up employers
anymore. Wouldn't be much point to that since most everyone's been
banned anyway.
