less than 39.
 

 How will we all keep busy when we only have to work 15 hours a week?

And some people just bury their heads in the sand and hope for the best. 
Remember when some people tried to warn W. that removing Saddam Hussein would 
destabilize the middle east? He had a much more optimistic attitude, that 
creating a democracy in the middle east would have a positive effect on the 
region and cause it to spread to neighboring countries and naturally people in 
democratic countries would be more interested in advancing their own personal 
lives than interfering with other nations. Democracies don't start wars with 
other democracies.Well. it was a nice uplifting theory but it didn't work for 
whatever reasons and there were many, especially ethnic, cultural and 
historical reasons..Now we are faced with more foolishness that European and 
other countries should absorb the chaos created by the first noble, but ill 
advised effort mentioned above. The culture shock created by this misguided 
adventure of both Europeans and middle easterners has never been thought out 
either.People are trying to mix oil and water. Both groups are suffering 
because of it. They say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions and 
those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. I hate to speak 
in sound bites but *hope* is not a strategy and hoping that millions of 
displaced refugees from totally foreign cultures can get along in a new culture 
is very wishful thinking and ignoring the history of mankind. Being aware that 
trouble is brewing is not the problem nor is warning that trouble is brewing. 
Hayam dukham anagatam. This altruistic, wishful,experiment in  multiculturalism 
is ill planned and doomed to fail. Perhaps with smaller groups and after 
assimilation things could work but not by invasion.

that with the benefits for everyone that might, just might, result? Every

Some places, like tech companies, employees feel it it as "badge of 
honor" to put in long hours.  My boss said it was probably more a sign 
of  incompetence.  And HP study back in the 1990s showed that working 
anymore than 50 hours a week was counter productive.  I knew someone who 
worked at Microsoft who was "salaried" (in California it's called 
"exempted") and if it took him one day to finish his part of the project 
for the week then it was okay for him not to come in the rest of the 
week.  Computer programming is more like working on a piece of art and 
productivity comes in spurts not 9 to 5.

The feminist activist cry of ‘Take Back the Night’, raised in protests in North 
American cities has been walked all the way backwards to ‘Do Not Go Out Alone

  “Following criticism of the police’s handling of the violent clashes in 
Cologne, the police chief of Cologne has been relieved of his duties today.
 “Police chief Wolfgang Albers, 60, was informed by the state interior minister 
Ralf Jaeger that he would be given early retirement, a source told Reuters.”
 It’s not likely that Albers had anything to do with the epic influx of 
migrants into Germany where Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomes them with open 
arms, and has launched a passionate defence of her dangerous migrant open door 
policy.
 

 Facing plunging poll numbers and rising violence that police identify as 
“co-ordinated” and mostly coming from “organised Arab or North African gangs”, 
the German Chancellor now promises to reduce the numbers of migrants coming 
into Germany, and has the gall to lecture the masses that if migrants were not 
cut back in numbers the country would eventually be ‘overwhelmed’. Talk about 
politicians stating the obvious!

her pro-immigration stance for being the victim of an assault in 2015—elected 
one day after the attack—as the first female mayor in Cologne’s history after 
gaining 52.66% of the votes,  offered this advice to German women under danger 
of being raped and sexually harassed:

themselves in the future, Henriette Reker proposed a kind of code of conduct

 “There’s always the possibility of keeping a certain distance of more than an

 “Reker’s suggestion that women could avoid being sexually harassed (or raped, 
as two women reported they were on New Year’s Eve) by keeping potential 
assailants at “arm’s length” drew immediate backlash. On Twitter, the 
outrage—much of it alternating between shock and sarcasm—amassed under 
#einarmlaenge, or “an arm’s length” in German.”
 

 This code of conduct should be immediately forced on politicians like Merkel 
and Reker: Quit with the phony rhetoric and put real action into the protection 
of the citizens you were elected to protect.
 

 Nor are Germany’s weak and wobbly women leaders the only examples of zero 
leadership in migrant beleaguered Europe, where it is now the fault of the 
citizens that they are being attacked.

Instead of calling in a bunch of Arab migrants to squat on your properties, 
you must have decided to give back your stolen land to the original folks.

To counter North Korea's threats of a nuclear war, the US sends a B-52 bomber 
over the skies of South Korea to show its solidarity with the Seoul government. 
 That's about all the US government could do for now.  But it is not 
politically and economically feasible for the US to get involved with another
