RE: [farsiweb]SOS in PHP or Perl...
Hi , Registering subdomain is done by your nameserver . You have to read your nameserver documents for Wildcards support in Zone files . Also in web server you can store a default Virtual Host and probe the subdomain in your PHP scripts by analyzing the _SERVER["SERVER_NAME"] predefined variable . Also I think that there is some solutions in apache that you can forward each subdomains to it's own directory . You have to read the apache configuration documents . But as behdad said you have to be familiar with php and apache first . -- Regards = / Seyyed Hamid Reza/WINDOWS FOR NOW !!/ / Hashemi Golpayegani / Linux for future , FreeBSD for ever / /Morva System Co. / - / / Network Administrator/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] , ICQ# : 42209876 / -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Mohsen Pahlevanzadeh Sent: Friday, December 06, 2002 2:29 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [farsiweb]SOS in PHP or Perl... Re: [farsiweb]SOS in PHP or Perl...
Extremely off-topic! Well, you shouldn't reserve a new domain eachtime someone registers. All you have to do is remember the name (in a database perhaps?) and make sure your server returns pages for that user when access is requested to that user's page. Masoud PS: I am assuming you know a little bit of HTTP and php, otherwise don't bother writing a blogger! Trying my best not to be offensive, but please stop writing Blogger, and get your hand on a PHP book and read it before using it. Also have a look at Apache documentations. GNOME's 'gedit' support Persian, and also some of the KDE text editors (I can't remember which do). The Persian keyboard layout is also included in Red Hat 8.0 if you install it, but you may need to install fonts of your own, which you may get from your Windows fonts directory, or download some from: http://corefonts.sourceforge.net/ I also have a post about enabling the Persian keyboard in Red Hat 7.3's KDE at: http://lists.sharif.edu/pipermail/farsikde/2002-June/000369.html But I don't know if exactly the same procedure will work with Red Hat 8.0. roozbeh ___ FarsiWeb mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.sharif.edu/mailman/listinfo/farsiweb
