I'm keeping Ki in my thoughts for a full recovery. I know how you feel about
keeping him no matter the outcome. We felt the same way about our Pippin (she
is 8 mos too) and she tested negative the second time on her IFA.

I have such a supportive vet. Told her we were
keeping him no matter what the outcome. Will have
everyone vaccinated. This group has given me the
knowledge to do this. A yr. ago, i would have had him
PTS. I got over the stigma of FIV years ago, and now
i understand FeLV so much better.

I'm so disappointed to hear Ki's still testing pos. Well, it just means
you will be watching him closer and taking special precautions to insure
he stays as stress free and in as good health as possible. You guys are
in my thoughts, give him a head bump from me,

Ki has been really healthy except for July, when he

recovered nicely.

Well, will stay in touch for sure!

Oh Dede, I can imagine what you are going through. Today's the day
huh? You hadn't had him tested again since he came to you right? Has
he been healthy and strong since then? You must be biting your nails
right now. I'm so glad Ki came into your life and you came into ours.
I was just thinking this morning how very much my attitudes and opinions
have changed through the years. You said it all with "What will be will
be". He has such a very good chance of testing neg. Do you know if his
mom and littermates are still testing neg? Are they going to run an
IFA, or another ELISA?
Blessings and prayers that little Ki comes through surgery and recovery
smoothly. Please let us know as soon as you can, I'm right there with
you girl.
