Re: [Finale] Converting Fin's AIFF to mp3

2013-11-17 Thread Gippo mercoli
Hi Giovanni,

You know I'm the same situation, even if I'm still thinking to record mine.
Importing audio file in logic pro will give them more quality than Garritan,
than you can bounce them saving mp3s. Sure: this means time!

Re: [Finale] Writing on tablet & using XML to move it to Finale

It's ios way to work. Everything has to be syncronized by iTunes.
You can bypass this "limit" mailing or dropboxing your files. Some apps have
wifi sync possibility with browser, but actually my notation app on iPad

[Finale] OT for Sibelius with Note Performer users

2014-11-20 Thread Gippo Mercoli
Hi everyone!
I’m going to buy Sibelius. Brouwsing Avid site I discovered that Sibelius comes
down with 36 giga instruments library. Going on investigating Sibelius world I
met Note Performer, which seems to be a very good extension for Sibelius. My
question is: why buy another library if the program has already a very large
one?

In older OS X I use to solve such problems playing finale through midi (or voce

Excuse my off topic answer: yesterday I installed finale 2014 and 2014.5 on El
Capitan (Mac mini) and simply NOTHING seems to work.

I add an external trackpad to my macbook and use a midi keyboard mostly for
inserting notes.

[Finale] Exporting Audio, Finale 2014.5 Mac OSX Yosemite

2016-02-26 Thread Gippo Mercoli
Dear list members,

some time ago i asked if someone had my same problem: exporting audio with
Finale 2014 (2014.5 too..) on Mac osX Yosemite.
Lot of you seemed to have the same problem.
I hope I did not loose any solution deleting mails, but now I’m able to export
audio just changing bank instrument.
Kontakt 5 in bank 1 and Finale exported very well in wave format.

If this issue has been already solved, sorry!

[Finale] Hardware problem

2017-01-09 Thread Gippo Mercoli
Hi everyone!

I have a problem maybe depending on my hardware configuration:
I'm using finale 2014.5 on a MacBook Pro i'm running Sierra with an external
Presonus Audiobox 1818.
I can't use the external audio device week with AU units, it just works if I
use the finale with the midi "Play finale to midi"
When I switch to AU units, audio comes out of from the computer

[Finale] not saving preferences

2017-01-21 Thread Gippo Mercoli
Hi everyone!

I’ve a problem with saving preferences: simply this does not happen.
For ex, I set auto save every minute and at next finale open auto save is, as
default, not selected and set on “every 15 minutes”

does anyone have this problem?

tnx!
