[Flashcoders] export transparent PNG
Hi I want to export transparent PNG from flash without any web server . I want to do it from flash player integrated with any technology like vb, vc. Is the Bitmap data in flash has any relation to bitmap data in vb. The problem is when I save image using virtual printer it applies a white stage background to the image and I need this image background to be transparent. How do I call Flash function if an object is embedded in a form object? I want a solution for Mozilla Browser, I have got this working for IE but looking some solution for Mozilla. The main goal to achieve is displaying 500 fonts in a combo box with embed fonts=true or in other words the labels for each items in combo box should represent the preview for the fontName. If I use a fontLoader in the beginning of my application. I'll have to wait till all 500 fonts are Loaded. It may take time depending on end user network connections. [Flashcoders] Flash + VB ActiveX Document DLL
Hi I have a simple flash movie with a input txtBox lying on stage placed in an activex document form(.vbd). Now my problem is, if I compile the dll and open the vbd file in a browser window, the arroe keys and the enter key do not function. I had a great mess and figured out that I was not able to fetch keys in flash. Whats the solution? Hi Abdul We have provisions to surpress print Dialog box in VB, .NET and many other language, tools. All are used to built rich internet applications. Don't you feel they are flash competitors and equally used in market for building good products. If these people can provide such capabilities, I'ld like to request such feature in flash too. And if we are discussing this in open , I'ld also request to have options in standalone flash itself to perform FSO as well as database connectivity operations. I have been using flash from past many years and been a fan of this. I have seen that flash can used in challenging application but we lack at every last mile for some or other reason explained as security issue. Why don't microsft limit this access to their tools . Are they less worried about their end users? Hi I have been trying to achieve text warp , with all the technologies and the skillset I possess, but to no success. I tried to achieve the same using displacement filter but to no success. Problem definition: I want the user to add text on stage at runtime and then select from certain built in effects, like bulge down, arc up, arc down and bridge text. Therafter the same text effects should be applicable to the textfield added at runtime added on Stage. I am unable to figure ou how to draw these bridge,bulge text effect in flash for a multiline text field. Please help me out. Hi I want to do image manipulation in Flash. Problem Definition. I have a png image exported at 80% quality . I am using 4 colors in png image say red,blue,green,orange. But as the image is generate because of lower quality image now contains more than 4 colors, some are variations of red, some of yellow some of gren.. In my application I want the user to have an option to replace selective color. How can I achieve to replace simultaneous ranges of red even if user specified a single color red. Also keeping in mind the intention to change only connected pixels. Any ideas are welcome.
