I switched to Unity 2D and disabled OpenGl on Cairo dock. Now it's doing

The idea is to cover the IT sky as much as possible. [FOSS Nepal] Failure to boot from dvd
Following ana incident (incomplete install from ubuntu live cd), i cant install an os using boot dvds. The dvd drive is working fine. Isnt there any way i can reset/format the whole system from the firmware level and run a fresh install of ubuntu?(i currently have ubuntu installed but its not working properly). Whats the terminal cmd to format the whole disc from root please? daiharu, thanks for the responses! I dont want the files now, i just want my hard drive back. i tried installing windows from a DVD but it does nothing(just a blinking cursor on the screen). I cannot explore the DVD from inside linux, it says the drive is empty, but clearly the content is there.
