RE: messages to fmer...@adobe.com bounce
Suzanne, Thanks for bringing this to Adobe’s attention. I’m sorry you’ve had this problem for a couple of days now. I’ve escalated this issue, and have been told that Adobe IT is looking into the problem. A further update when I have more information on this. When FM crashed earlier this week I tried sending the log file as I normally do but this time it bounced. I tried resending again, and tried a couple more times over the last days, to no avail. the Delivery Failure Report tells me that my message was not delivered to:fmer...@adobe.commailto:fmer...@adobe.com because:550 No such user - psmtp I know I was still able to send log files to this address in January. I found forum posts about a similar issue with an Adobe e-mail alias for a different product, but that problem had reportedly been resolved at some point. is Adobe experiencing problems with their e-mail servers? or are these aliases being retired? thanks, Suzanne ___ You are currently subscribed to framers as arch...@mail-archive.com. RE: messages to fmer...@adobe.com bounce
I can confirm that there is indeed a problem with the fmer...@adobe.commailto:fmer...@adobe.com e-mail address. It is directly accessible within Adobe, but bounces everything addressed to it from outside. I have put in a service call to Adobe’s IT group to fix that problem ASAP. I’ll let the list know when the problem is resolved (assuming they respond to me!) ☺ - Dov [cid:image001.png@01CE2BD5.EB4CA420] Dov Isaacs Principal Scientist Adobe Systems Incorporated +1 408.536.2896 (tel) +1 408.242.5161 (cell) isa...@adobe.commailto:isa...@adobe.com 345 Park Avenue San Jose, CA 95110-2704 USA http://www.adobe.comhttp://www.adobe.com/ Feel free to print this e-mail if your needs dictate hard copy.
