pam_krb5
Hello list, I seem to be having a problem with pam_krb5.so. It works fine on console logins. However, when I ssh into my freebsd server from another computer, tickets are not issued. I have uncommented the pam_krb5.so entries in the sshd pam file. Otherwise, the sshd pam file has been left stock. I know I have a working kerberos install because kinit, klist, and kdestory all work. What might I have missed? I have left the sshd_config unchanged. Any guidance would be appreciated. I have even added a host principle for the client and still no effect. The strange thing is that there are no errors being thrown to /var/log/messages or /var/log/security. If anyone else has seen this, I would really like some insight. Dell Inspiron 6400 Intel PRO/Wireless 3495 trouble
Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 equipped with the Intel PRO/Wireless 3495 card. I have installed the port for iwi and it does not work for me. I am able to do a kldload -v if_iwi without errors. A kldstat shows that the module has been loaded. However, a dmesg | grep iwi reveals nothing. Additionally, an ifconfig iwi0 gives an error that the device is not present. When I do a full length dmesg, I do notice the following line: pci3: base peripheral at device 1.1 (no driver attached) pci3: base peripheral at device 1.2 (no driver attached) pci3: base peripheral at device 1.3 (no driver attached) pci3: base peripheral at device 1.4 (no driver attached) I am guessing that this is just the wireless card that is unrecognized because there are no other messages to the effect of unknown. I do know for a fact that I have the 3495 as it worked fine under Windows (ugggh!). Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Intel PRO/Wireless 3495
Hello All, Would someone be able to direct me to a good FAQ or howto on using ndis. Apparently, I need to use ndisulator to be able to use my Intel 3495 because neither the iwi or ipw drivers seem to work with it. nss_ldap build problems
Hello All, I am stumped. I am trying to build nss_ldap and I get an error that says cannot locate file ldap.h when I know it exists and I know the exact directory it is located in and specify it. Here is the command line I am using: ./configure -includedir=/usr/local/include. There must be some environment parameters that need to be set for the compiler or config script? I don't know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Matt ___ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Dell Dimension 2400 and Netgear WG311 PCI Wireless Card
I am hoping somebody can help me out. I have a Dell Dimension 2400 and I installed a Netgear WG311 card in it. It has the Atheros chipset and will work with the ath driver. However, I cannot get it to work. I am using FreeBSD 5.2.1 and I have compiled a kernel adding the following lines: device ath device ath_hal However, after the new kernel is installed and I restart the machine, it does not find the card. I have verified this with an ifconfig -a statement. Any help would be appreciated.
