I couldn't get access myself. saa_driver included in kbtv distrib, and can be found in inet, driver homepage is broken. I-m install it from port kbtv, the nessasary bsd-patche within distrib tarball I suspect your tuner (terratec?) is not amongst the supported ones. Both are Avermedia actually as posted, and yes they're only marginally supported. So far only the analogue works (possibly). That saa driver- I thought there was a problem with the site, but I had no idea it could be downloaded with kbtv. I thought it was only compiled with support for the driver, not the driver itself. =from kbtv README If you set the WITH_SAA variable to True the saa.ko kernel module will be built and installed, as well as the tvv X-based viewer (gets embedded into kbtv) and a saa Python module that allows for tuning and such, exactly like the bt848 module provides for Brooktree based hardware. Depending on the type of Xeon, the use of amd64 _is_ possible. Does it support EMT64? If that is the case, it should have a line saying AMD Features = bla,LM,bla in your dmesg which means the use of FreeBSD-amd64 is supported. Hm, greater fanks! About make release
Hi, All. release can be build by calling commands: make release.1 ... ... make release.7 ... etc. Why need to chroot and build world again ?, may be I do not understand all cobweb of release making process...
