I actually have this set.
I see this msg is going to private addresses, which is good.
anyway it cost me 300nz, around 120 us at the time.
I got the audio cd version but you can get the mp3 version.
They are really cool.
Unfortunately the first load were dammaged but the second load were 
really good.
Now for a 1970s thing I think it was for its time and for the current 
21st centurary the thing is really good.

[Audyssey] montezuma's revenge beta3 still with the start up error

Hi, just to let you know that on my machine, also Montezuma's revenge beta3 
gives me the same error of the first. That is, the standard Windows dialog 
which warns me that the application must be closed as there has been an 
error. and no explanation is given, so I just have to press the close button
All pre-requirements are satisfied: sapi5 is working, DotNet is the 3.0 
framework and DirectX is 9.
I followed all steps written in the system requirements on usagames.us
But Monty doesn't want to decide to work!
Sorry for long silence but I have a lot of work this period, so I have 
little time for computer gaming

Hi,

Do exactly like before. In fact, when you choose single player, you
start a local server on your machine. But this new  message is
confusing anyway. I wanted to avoid saying single player 3 times
when you choose this option, but it will be better anyway.

So this is a problem with newlines in text files, managed differently in
Windows, Mac and Linux. The patch for the multi platform version is there:

(just replace this file)
If you can, wait until tonight or tomorrow, I will release a bugfix
version soon.

Hi Talksina,
Hmmm I'm really concerned and baffled as to the cause of your crash. 
It is possible the issue is do to the fact you are running a foreign 
distribution of Windows, but that really shouldn't effect anything.
By chanse did you install beta 2 before beta 3? If so remember Beta 2 
created some bad product keys that needed removed prier to installing 
Beta 3. If that isn't the case then there is something else missing or 
broken.
Question did you attempt to reinstall DirectX 9.0C after installing .Net 
3.0? Sometimes, but not always that will correct any dependancies issues.

I have done all.
first of all, I did not install beta2, I had the first beta, so I don't 
think this is the problem. Second, it crashes even if I reinstalled directX 9.
And I also tried to set international options by control panel, to USA 
english
nothing changes

[Audyssey] Quick Monty Announcement.

Hi everyone,
This is just a quick announcement about some changes I am making in 
Montezuma's Revenge Beta 4 based on user requests and suggestions.
First, allot of you have expressed extreme dislike about being killed 
instantly when landing on monsters. I have introduced a compromise in 
this matter based on Will's suggestion. As of Beta 4 if you have a 
weapon and land on a monster it will be killed and you will land safely 
on the ground. If you are not carrying a weapon and land on a monster 
you will be killed instantly. I think this is a fair compromise, and it 
doesn't completely spoil the fun and difficulty of the classic game.
Second, several end user's have expressed discontent, dislike, and 
really want the ability to kill snakes. I have decided in the interest 
of everyone to restore the former ability to optionally kill snakes.
I hope these compromises are suitable for everyone, and as always I am 
welcome to your input.

Hi Talksina,
Thanks for the quick responce and info. Unfortunately, I am at a total 
loss for an explanation for the reason it is crashing on your system.
No, if you upgraded from beta 1 to Beta 3 then the registration key 
problem is not a factor/issue in this case since the problem only occurs 
between updates from Beta 2 to Beta 3.
Yours is a case I will have to research in the Microsoft knolege base 
and see if other .Net developers have answers or explanations for this 
kind of error. It could just be as simple as some component is corrupted 
on your XP install that needs installed or something else that is beyond 
my current list of things to check or look at.

Okay, a little user input: Are you planning on using the sand sound again? I 
really liked it and thought it may be nice to have both dirt and sand floors 
for some, well, diversity. Further, I really like killing snakes! I've died 
an awful lot of times when landing on one of these bastards (in fact they 
were worse than the skulls and spiders altogether). Oh, speaking of spiders, 
there is one in a normal light room and I can just walk past it even with a 
sword without it being killed. This is reproduceable.

[Audyssey] football week6

Hi,

And wow it was a close one. The dolphins had two touchdowns. dolphins over 
the colts 13 to 12. And nothing really happened in the second half of the 
game, all the action really was in the first half where the dolphins made 
the two touchdowns with an attempt at a two-point conversion and failed. But 
they still won with a field goal and two touchdowns 13 to 12. It was really 
close. and it took all they had to keep the colts back.

[Audyssey] Sound RTS map building manual? Also problem with map code

 Hi everyone,
 I've started up a new season on my desktop using the Browns since they
 are my home team. This weeks game was a smashing success. I say
 smashing, because to say I won the game was an understatement.
 Game 1 was Browns verses the Steelers 0 and 0.
 The first quarter opened up with the Steelers in posession of the ball.
 They ran it out to their 45 yard line, fumbled, and the Browns ran it
 home for a touch down. Putting the Browns in a 7 and 0 lead over the
 Steelers. This would set the pace for the rest of the game.
 Most of the quarter was spent exchanging posession of the ball,but just
 after the 2 minute warning the Browns kicked a field goal putting them
 now in a 10 and 0 lead over the Steelers. As you can see the Browns were
 burning hot, and just getting warmed up for the rest of the game.
 The second quarter opened up with the Browns in posession of the ball.
 They managed to pass, run, and generally move the ball with amazing
 speed down to the end zone for another touch down. Bringing the score
 now to 17 to 0 over the Steelers. By now I am certain Pitsburg was ready
 to fire their team while Browns fans hirled dog bones at them.
 Pitsburg regained posession of the ball only to have their second pass
 get easily picked off. As if fait had turned against Pitsburg the Browns
 drove the ball home for another 7 point touch down. Bringing the score
 to an amazing 24 and 0 lead. Dog bones were really coming down on
 Pitsburg by now. What bow-wows!
 Pitsburg once again gets the ball, moves it, but their quarterback gets
 sacked so far back they have to turn the ball over to the Browns with a
 short punt. I say short because 29 yards was not enough protection to
 defend against the team pushing another drive.
 You got it as if they had become invincible the Browns had unusual luck
 passing, running, the ball home for a third touch down that quarter.
 Score was now 31 to 0, and Pitsburg was looking pretty sick. I'm sure
 some players were ready to walk off the field. I mean not even half-time
 and they were behind an amazing 31 points. Situation hhopeless.
 Well, the Steelers got the ball again, tried to get the ball moving, but
 unfortunately their quarterback made a faital play. While standing at
 his 5 yard line he attempted to get a pass off. He was sacked to the
 ground for a 10 yard penalty. Except he didn't have 10 yards to go back,
 and that ended in a 2 point safety for the Browns. Score had magically
 become 33 to 0 and the Steelers were looking pretty screwed.
 With probably fear and terror Pitsburg was forced to punt the ball back
 to the Browns. The Browns ran the ball into field goal range, and while
 there were still downs left they kicked a field goal just before the
 half-time call. By the end of the second quarter the score was now
 Browns 36 and Steelers 0. It was We Will Rock You indeed at Cleveland
 stadium.
 By the time the third quarter began it seams the Steelers realised they
 had to clean up their act and put more effort into defense. If they
 didn't they were about to go down as the worst team in
 history.Especially, if they got creamed in the second half as they did
 the first. They were getting slottered,and I think they knew it.
 Needless to say the third quarter was not much to report. Neither side
 could score, and it got pretty brutal out there on the field. both teams
 were trying hard to score, but there were plenty of good plays on both
 sides. Finally, Pitsburg was getting their heads out of their rear ends,
 but a little late to write home about.
 The  third quarterended with the score standing still at Browns 36 and
 Steelers 0. Browns clearly were still out playing them in the stats with
 pass completions, running plays, and in that sense the Browns had
 carried the quarter off well. Showing the AFC who was really the
 champions this season.
 The fourth and final quarter opened up with the Steelers in posession of
 the ball. They had a good line drive going with the ball they were
 getting good pass completions, good running plays, and oops they had an
 interception just at my 45 yard line. Browns ran the ball out to the
 Pitsburg 42 yard line and ended up stalling out thanks in part to the
 Steelers really putting some effort into blocking my plays. They were
 successful this time in stalling my offense.
 The ball is punted back to the Steelers which they down for a touch
 back, and carry the ball out to the 20 yard line. Try as they might they
 only managed to gain one yard in four downs. I am beginning to feel
 sorry for the Steelers. Here they are
