Hi Charles, The last version of Internet Explorer for Windows XP was version 8.0, and since XP is no longer officially supported no more Internet Explorer updates for XP shall be forth coming. That said, if you are willing to switch to Mozilla Firefox or Google' Chrome you can still maintain a reasonably up to date browser on XP, and play all your favorite online games. Personally I suggest trying Firefox as it is more accessible than Chrome in my opinion. Cheers! Raul did mention that he was not going to mention all of the hot keys because they are found in the user's guide that comes with the game. That's why they are included. I sure wish more people would use what is provided. If a list of hot keys is lengthy, I get out a Perkins brailler and some paper, and I braille them. Then I can refer to my brailled list while playing the game without having to go back and forth between a game and either a help menu or the documentation. --- Be positive! Hi Charles, I liked Raul's walkthrough as well. Definitely a lot better than I could do. I’ve dealt with Quicktime events with mainstream games before, and this is a taste of what they're like, kind of. The later levels get tricky with timing, especially levels 8-10. I have MR raul's walkthrough but I don't like it. MR John I want to listen secter 1 to 4 I would like to listen in it's my turn daddy because I'm playing in this. Hi Dark, Grin. I've been passed the so-called big 30 for quite a while now, and I can say the main reason I don't play alot of games, arcade/action games, is a lack of interest rather than getting old. I can spend hours with a game like Time of Conflict, but if I sit down and play with something like Alien Outback I get board in ten minutes. HI all Is it possible to have the game titles in the combo box on audiogames.net sorted from newest to oldest instead of alphabetically? The last time I checked the database grew from 459 entries to 474 entries. I would like to see what new entries have been added. If possible, kindly provide steps how to sort the entries from newest to oldest. I want the first entry in the combo box to be the most recent entry added, not the first alphabetical entry. I'm not sure what you've been trying to do in fighting him but the way to beat him is fairly simple. He is running back and forward in front of you out of your range and sooner or later he'll shout "time to die" or something like that and you'll hear him charge in to attack you. Sinse you want to make sure your facing him when he charges, follow him left and right while he's out of range so that he's in the center when he charges. Then he'll swing his sword at you, (listen for the clink when he draws it). You can just streight out press up arrow to attack him streight off, or if you prefer you can parry his sword swing then press up arrow immediately after you block his attack, though you have to be quick. Blind swordsman is a simple game, but the timings are complex. You can't just press a combination of arrows to win, you need to think about what your doing, when to block and when to attack, and also be very precise. Hth. Sinse you want to make sure your facing him when he charges, follow him left and right while he's out of range so that he's in the center when he charges. Then he'll swing his sword at you, (listen for the clink when he draws it). I have to say that I'm extremely impressed by the simplicity of the interface and the complexity of the timing. Wonderful design. And it's got me deliciously stumped. That hasn't happened to me for quite some time. I haven't passed level 3 yet. As I said, the full name is proteus the tower of terror, sinse it is the first gamebook in the proteus series which was a set of gamebook magazines from the 1980's, however unlike all the other people who've translated gamebooks to the Iphone the developers have actually included! accessibility and voice over support. Actually i wish I could find their website to say how good it is they've done that. Hi Nicol. The game is called proteus the tower of terror, and sinse it only came out a couple of weeks ago it's not got pages or information yet. It's basically a playable gamebook adventure for the Iphone. I just searched for proteus on the ap store and it was the first thing that came up.
