I think I have tried that but I will try again. I know when I tried to move and
saw that the breaks were on I turned on the r. Engine and then I saw I was able
to turn breaks off. If I do not follow those orders exactly would that stop me

actually, your order is wrong. you can't actually deactivate the parking
breaks till the engines are running. so start up the engines, deactivate
breaks, then, and only then, can you move.

Re: [Audyssey] EuroFly question

2016-12-30 Thread Dallas O'Brien
Hi, yeah it's the massive job setting up and getting working of it's
your plane that turned me away. yes, i like flying. yes i like flight
sims, but, i'm not really prepared at this point, to go into the amount
of work i'd need to do to make that work. plus, reading the
documentation isn't too good either. in fact i was more confused after
attempting to read it last night then i was before. lol. Oh well, euro
fly will have to do. hope they do make it better in time, and provide
better sounds. the way they have used the engines sounds isn't really
good, IE using a low freq version of the files and ramping it up to the
original recording. it's one way of doing it, and sounds ok once you're
up to speed, but sounds very strange otherwise. and as i've stated on
the forum about it, i don't like the slow build up of sound along with
speed. sound of engines should be seperate from air speed / ground
speed. but hey. it's not bad for what it is. free. lol. i'm so damned
determined to push through till i can fly the big planes on there. want
to give them a twirl or two, and of course, use autopilot.

EuroFly is good if you are into more of what it is like to be a real world
pilot for an airline or charter company. IYP nor FSX compares in that regard.
Also, the default airplane sounds in FSX are junk. I have spent a lot of money
just fixing that issue alone and am not done yet. I have some videos up on
YouTube of IYP, and while FSX and IYP plus all the other add-ons are great, it
is nice to have something where I can actually control the aircraft, although
with my setup here, I always am controlling the aircraft for take off and the
initial climb before the autopilot is turned on in FSX.

Re: [Audyssey] Tips for taxiing to a runway on Euro Fly

2016-12-30 Thread Shaun Everiss
Yes, first before you take off even before you get passengers, request
clearance.
You will get a slot that slot never changes unless you change craft or
kill the session or something.

So use k to find how big the runway is.
This will tell you how many stops to like be at before you have to be at
the right one.

Then set your speed to 50 and wait.
you watch for the right one, when you get close, hit b and break then b
to unbreak and move at 10 up to it.
You will know you are at its location when the sound is on extreme left
or right side of the stereo image.
Next turn towards that and push it to the max or as high as your takeoff
speed should be if yougo to high you dammage things and explode.
On an interesting note, once you are up you can do whatever and only
need headphones for take off.

If you can manage it I have been able to use speakers to take off to.

hit f to get the requency.
then alt f to enter it.
For those synths that don't say it.
punctuation is important, so 130 4 is 130 , 4
or 130 coma 4 or dot, but only the scansoft synths do this.
I have got the inoteics 4 pack synths which are quite good but they
don't do punctuation and I am unsure how to make my sapi speak every
symbol, I guess I could set nvda to be sapi and make the damn thing
speak every symbon while playing the game but then I'd have to make sure
thats all I did at once.

Re: [Audyssey] EuroFly question

2016-12-30 Thread Shaun Everiss

Well I have likened eurofly to a semi automatic drone sim.
You have no name and are then a drone.
You get contacted by whatever airport computer and then do your thing.
So I imagine this eurofly where all things are controled by self aware
androids and airport and state controler cpus.
It then does make some sence as if I was a drone I would just want the
information and nothing else.

2016-12-30 Thread Shaun Everiss

No, being that I am a tester.
1. depos you can go to service and run at 10 kph thats ok.
Its all on length of tracks to be honest.
I usually go at full speed as high as limit for the 1-2000 meter tracks,
but once I get to 700-600 I drop down to 50, at 400-300 I go to 30 or 40.

As long that as you hit 100 you can be on 20, 50 you should be at 15.
then when you hit 15 you should be at 10.
Then you are fine.

What gets me quite often are the speed limit changes where I have to
get from 80 to 15 or 10. I almost always end up going too fast for a
little bit. Nick did a great job with both Tube Sim and Park Boss,
and both of these titles are similar to games I used to play when I
had more vision or had a computer that could run the programs that I used

to play.

Hi Jordan, here goes.
First step, get clearance to fly. listen to what runway they say you're
cleared from. start up your engines, and keep your speed down to about
50 for now, to make it easier. as you get better, you can speed up quite a
bit, but it takes a lot of practice to do that without overshooting, or
having to slam on the breaks. lol. anyways, let's say that you're cleared
from A2. you run down along the airport, till you hear beeping from either
ear. combined with that sound, is a designation, IE 1, 2, 3, A1, A2, A3, B1,
B2, B3, and so on. you need to get to where it tells you the one your
cleared from, and turn into it. so lets say that you're cleared from A2, and
that happens to be on the left. taxi along, till you hear the beeping on
your left, and a female voice saying A2. Turn left, by pressing control+left
arrow, to turn 90 degrese to the left.
you will hear a ding as you start to turn, then another as you complete your
turn. and either before that second ding, or just after it, the beeping and
the voice saying A2 should stop. at this point, you're lined up, and ready
for takeoff. now ramp them engines up to your takeoff speed, and follow on
with a normal takeoff as you would perform if the runway clearance were for
the runway in front of you.
Hope this helps you. took me a bit to figure it out too. lol. and a lot of
very dented planes!

Dallas

Hello,
I have one problem, the prerecorded prompts can't catch up, and I fail to stop.
Is that just me, or anyone else having it?

Re: [Audyssey] Tips for taxiing to a runway on Euro Fly

2016-12-30 Thread Jordan Gallacher
Lol, a lot of dented planes is right. Just last night I must have overshot
the runway somehow because the 707 never took off. It crashed off of the
runway. Anyone else notice that some airports have bad weather around
almost all the time? That has made for some rather expedited landings the
past few flights I have done.

Regards:
Dallas

2016-12-30 Thread Jordan Gallacher
What gets me quite often are the speed limit changes where I have to get
from 80 to 15 or 10. I almost always end up going too fast for a little
bit. Nick did a great job with both Tube Sim and Park Boss, and both of
these titles are similar to games I used to play when I had more vision or
had a computer that could run the programs that I used to play.

[Audyssey] Blindfold Oppoly for iOS, iPhone and iPad.

2016-12-30 Thread Phil Vlasak

Blindfold Oppoly from Kid Friendly Software, Inc.

Blindfold Oppoly is a fully accessible board game inspired by the game
Monopoly.

The playing board has 40 spots consisting of land properties, railroads,
luck cards and other spots. You spin the dice, and move your token to the
spot,

where you may buy the property or pay rent.

You can play with up to 3 computer opponents, and you can adjust their
playing strategy and skill level. You can play either a full game, or a
short game,
and you can modify several of the rules of the game for more variety. Some
of those features require in-app upgrades.

The game comes with 10 free coins for playing a bunch of games; you can
purchase more coins with a $15 in-app upgrade.

During the game, you'll need to do a two-finger single tap
to bring up a screen which will allow you to do things like buy properties,
mortgage, trade, etc. For these screens, Voiceover is used.
