No, it can't treasure hunt and others are in vb6 when lworks went 
freeware liam had major issue finding a box and compiling the files.

It took a lot to make the games work.

Please note that none of the open source versions have installers.
If you are launching the game from your start menu or desktop, you will be
playing a demo version. Therefore, make sure you're
running one of the extracted zip or 7z archives.

Ron,
Either link will have the free version available.
The archive also hosts the old demos of the game.
Please note that none of the open source versions have installers.
If you are launching the game from your start menu or desktop, you will be 
playing a demo version. Therefore, make sure you're 
running one of the extracted zip or 7z archives.

It might actually help if there was a specific "offline tryout mode" which 
set the player on map one with an average zombie count and item drops just 
to get used to the game.

Perhaps someone could even write a couple of tutorial quests into that too.

I do really enjoy swamp and indeed need to set it up and try again myself 
now that I have a decent usb mouse, albeit setting up my new windows 10 
machine comes first.

No. Because of the amount of hackers and cheaters in the game, the only 
way to play the online mode is to purchase a gamer account.
You can play offline if you wish, and some of the campaigns can give you a

This is indeed true, TDV is now free and open source.
Its also possible that the multiplayer server will be open sourced as well.

No. Because of the amount of hackers and cheaters in the game, the only way to 
play the online mode is to purchase a gamer account.
You can play offline if you wish, and some of the campaigns can give you a good 
feel for the game, but there is no way to access 
multiplayer without an account.

You don't have to find billy specifically, if I remember rightly you should 
be able to just complete that quest from the menu the way you do others.

I just read over the read me file. I was trying to do a quest where I was 
supposed to find a employees records. I had to go to the factory and go 
bilvillys office. I found the records. I was told to go back to the safe 
zone and give it to billy. I went back to the safe zone as told bud when I 
got back to the safe zone I could not figure where billy was. Could 
someone give me a idea of where I should go or do? Also, I went to the 
folder where swamp was and looked at the read me duke prime. I saw the 
portion which talked about maps and read on how to get from nap to map but 
I did not see any where which discussed the general lay out of the maps. 
Any help on where to look would be appreciated.

I found a copy of this game out on the internet, and I can get it running 
as an audio game with dictation on the iphone and ipad with a week or two 
of work.
Here's a wiki about the game.  Many of you have probably played it - it's
