There are also character voices from cepstral, like a dog, or a whisper, and they are 6 dollars. Re: [Audyssey] OT: sepstral and e-speak voices was Cross Platform Speech Support
Actually it's www.cepstral.com. You can't actually get them from Nextup. And they cost about thirty bucks per voice. The difference is that you actually register the voices like you do most audio games, and it's really easy to retrieve your license numbers if you should happen to lose them. I don't know if they're machine specific though. - Original Message - From: shaun everiss shau...@xtra.co.nz To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Sunday, January 25, 2009 5:35 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] OT: sepstral and e-speak voices was Cross Platform Speech Support www.nextup.com should be a place to get the cepstral but they cost I think 35 bucks per voice. espeak is at http://espeak.sourceforge.net its free. both synths I think are sapi 5x compatible so should have no issue running on any modern system, xp and up.
