[Audyssey] Chopper Challenge: this is getting On My Nerves!
Hi, everyone. I've recently downloaded a free game I hadn't played before called Chopper Challenge, from ex-xite interactive. If anyone's unfamiliar with it, it's a space invader's type game whereby you shoot at a copter man type thing, and avoid his bombs. The object of the game is to stay alive for ten minutes, and rack up as many points as possible, on three difficulty levels. You have health points, you start with 100, and if you get hit by a bomb, these decrease to the point that if you get zero, the copter man successfully marks your card and blows you to blazes! Now it should follow that, if you have a good number of health points, a good number of points, and are still alive at the end of ten minutes, Copter man should bite the dust. Except he often doesn't, he destroys you, for what reason I cannot fathom! Also, it will sometimes happen during the game, that, though I have plenty of health points, Copter man will suddenly take it into his head to end things and destroy me. Now, am I missing something here, I've read through the readme, and can't find any reason for this to happen. Because if I'm not missing something, I'm here to tell you, this is getting on my last nerve! Is anyone else having this kind of problem with this game? If the person who wrote it is reading this, perhaps you could enlighten me as to why this happens. It is, in the main, a great game, or I'd have just said to heck with it, buggy game, and consigned it to the recycling bin in the sky, but I like the game, and would like to know why this is happening, and if it's fixable. As far as I know, you must play the game for more than 5 minutes and have at least 230 points or higher, at least on the PAC Mate version. Try it anyway on the desktop version. Hi, The download occurs just fine. The error occurs when I start to run the installation program after download has been completed. So if you stop the download process and you click on that file you will get the message that the setup files is corrupted. So my suggestion is, not to abort the downloading process. I'm using free download manager. There is a checkbox which says launch download when complete. And there is another checkbox which says: close dialogue when complete. So when these boxers are ticked, you will know when the download is completed. If you want to pause the download in the case where you want to go to bed and turn off your pc, if you click on stop, free download manager will save the point where you stopped. Hi, Is chopper challenge free? When I download the windows version it always says the file is corrupted. What's wrong with it? How can I get a good clean copy of the program? Try putting jaws to sleep. Just bring up the game. Do a insert + 6, and when it comes up say yes. Then do a alt + s, arrow up to advanced, check the box and hit ok. Now save the changes and close. You will have your keys back and jaws will still work if needed. The object of the game is to find the Copter Man and destroy him, avoid his bombs, collect various weapons and rack up the points! [Audyssey] Chopper Challenge Version 1.2 Released
Hey all, X-Sight Interactive has released version 1.2 of Chopper Challenge, which includes a fix for the score posting, some general bug fixes, some new sounds, and a few new features, including more challenging game play and the ability to catch bombs and use them as an alternative weapon. The game can be downloaded at http://www.x-sight-interactive.net/xsight/games. It is available in a full installer only, and you must uninstall any old version of the game before installing 1.2.
