Hi, OK, there's no translation yyet. Then I know that I have to play it in English, hope it's not to difficult. There are guides for german towers and dispatchers, somewhere on the forum in english. If you can translate those in german thats part of it. Once thats done and you have a few dispatchers and the like in german well. I am unsure how to make a german pack but all that is needed are german stuards or stuardesses and dispatchers both male and female, as well as the pack itself. The game is made to be modded. If you go to the eurofly topic on the audiogames forum the dev has his email address, just ask him for the translation. I know eurofly has a facebook and a twitter account but not sure. Re: [Audyssey] Eurofly help
hi, you need to stop your aircraft between 0 and 100 of the airport. you touch down usually something around minus 1000 for smaller aircraft, and ever increasing for larger ones. you need to cut your engines back bit by bit, till you park in that plus 0 plus 100 range. if you overshoot, you can stop your aircraft, press the backspace key, and then increase your engines again, to go backwards towards your parking area. To give you some idea, if you keep track of where you are on the airport with k, and it says something like minus 20, at this point you want your speed to be about 50 or so. if you at this point cut your engines power to 0, you will roll into your parking area nicely. takes a lot of practice doing it at higher speeds from further out. Hope that helps. Dallas On 1/01/2017 21:09, Michael Maslo wrote: Hi list. I have one other question about this game. Re: [Audyssey] EuroFly question
pg13 has a podcast and there or podcast also done buy a couple others. Look up looking at eurofly in your podcaster of choice. I just can't wait for more U.S airports. There are a few here I would love to have but not sure how to properly send the info I need to have them added. I tried to google for the info I need then add them in on the game maybe to make sure things where in the right place before emailing the devs but no go for me. Also I wonder what makes the fsx setup so bad? I wonder how much it cost as well. I wouldn't mind playing for eurofly if there were better sounds and a bunch of other cool stuff that made this more realistic. Re: [Audyssey] Eurofly problem
hmm, strange. only thing i can think of that might cause problems is, what screen reader are you using? if you are using jaws, it's well known for interrupting keys. and that could be stopping you from increasing / decreasing your speed.if you are using jaws, or probably any other screen reader, to test if this is the problem, either put it into sleep mode, or turn it off completely. then test the moving thing. Outside that, i can't be sure what's going on. if it's not that, it's something really odd going on. Re: [Audyssey] EuroFly question
Well, I've installed Eurofly, but I too would love a you tube video of a complete flight since I too have not been able to even file a flight plan for the U.S. Nor have I been able to complete the first assignment. So, I too would love something to show me how to get started and off the ground for beginning Eurofly pilots. I have yet to do much of anything with either sim. I do own FX x, though after reading how much I need to do for the initial setup of that and iyp I was pretty turned off by that. I also would love a stream of both, noting exactly how both work from start to finish with commands, how screen readers work, etc. And so far as I know, iyp costs money per minute (unless that’s changed now) which I don’t mind, of course. But if I’m simply learning, I’d really enjoy being able to simply try things for free. Of course, it’s been a few years since I’ve done any digging in depth. So don’t quote me on any of this. IYP nor FSX compares in that regard. Also, the default airplane sounds in FSX are junk. I have spent a lot of money just fixing that issue alone and am not done yet. I have some videos up on YouTube of IYP, and while FSX and IYP plus all the other add-ons are great, it is nice to have something where I can actually control the aircraft, although with my setup here, I always am controlling the aircraft for take off and the initial climb before the autopilot is turned on in FSX. The thing with the different dispatchers also sounds great, I sometimes have the feeling that one airport just says that I am the controlers airspace, and than, well, I am flying through no mans land, and someone will pick me up when I transition into the airports airspace, that's not how aviation works. But I guess this will not be implemented, due to the fact that it would make the game to complex for some people. Hi, yeah it's the massive job setting up and getting working of it's your plane that turned me away. yes, i like flying. yes i like flight sims, but, i'm not really prepared at this point, to go into the amount of work i'd need to do to make that work. plus, reading the documentation isn't too good either. in fact i was more confused after attempting to read it last night then i was before. lol. Oh well, euro fly will have to do. hope they do make it better in time, and provide better sounds. the way they have used the engines sounds isn't really good, IE using a low freq version of the files and ramping it up to the original recording. it's one way of doing it, and sounds ok once you're up to speed, but sounds very strange otherwise. and as i've stated on the forum about it, i don't like the slow build up of sound along with speed. sound of engines should be seperate from air speed / ground speed. but hey. it's not bad for what it is. free. lol. i'm so damned determined to push through till i can fly the big planes on there. want to give them a twirl or two, and of course, use autopilot. [Audyssey] Eurofly problem
Hi list, I installed this game and am having the following problem. I do both task and free flight. I go through the process of release brakes, shut the door, turn the engines on with the page up key. I follow the instructions and get the permission to take off. The problem I am having is I hit the home key to make the engine hi higher to make me move and no matter what I do, I never move. The brakes are off. Can someone give me a idea on what I may be doing wrong? As said I followed the instructions and it does not work. Thanks in advance. Re: [Audyssey] EuroFly question
Well I have likened eurofly to a semi automatic drone sim. You have no name and are then a drone. You get contacted by whatever airport computer and then do your thing. So I imagine this eurofly where all things are controled by self aware androids and airport and state controler cpus. It then does make some sence as if I was a drone I would just want the information and nothing else. On 24/12/2016 5:42 a.m., Moritz Grandjean wrote: Hi John. Check out www.itsyourplane.com and search YouTube for visimmer where you can watch videos of IYP in action. That was my problem with it as well. Your not doing a lot of hitting switches, your talking to the pilot but it sounds really cool. Hi John. Yeah, it's supposed to do that, it just tells you that it is loading the geo data for the maps. the thing with the ATC, Well, I also hope that it also gets implemented into the game, also something nice would be that you receive your pattern entry instructions, so that the controler tells you when to turn on base or you have to capture the glide slope or localizer, if you do an ILS approach landing. [Audyssey] Eurofly, the first complex flight simulator for the blind.
Folks, I've tried to improve the English translation of the game page below by Stefan Kiss of Kissoft: http://www.eurofly.stefankiss.sk/ Eurofly, the first complex flight simulator for the blind. It is also a digital atlas. The game is based on real gps data, and contains a large map of the world. Have you ever wanted to find out what was at a gps coordinate? Enter your home city and find out what is ten km to the north, south, west, or east or in a specific angle. Have you ever wanted to be a pilot of an aircraft and take passengers from one country to another? Or have you ever wanted to fly a collection of small as well as big planes with hundreds of passengers with real parameters as seen in airports? If yes, this is a right game for you. Download and try our freeware program Eurofly and have fun. You can play Eurofly with a joystick instead of keyboard control. Do you want to feel more like a pilot in a real aircraft cockpit? If yes, a joystick or flight controller is the right choice for you. Do you already have a joystick and want to use It with Eurofly? Well, you can use this amazing application, which will do It for you. Eurofly 1.7.5 fix was released 32 and 64-bit. English and Slovenská verzia / slovak versions Eurofly 1.7.1 Flying simulator and digital map of world for blinds. Full installation contains all addons and language packs. Added tuesday 22. november 2016 - 1837 downloaded There are 3 new english dispatchers, (Sarah, William, and Steve Murgaski) and one stewardess (Natalie). --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org.
