Actually the one request made there was mine, though I actually requested that either the payment link be reinstalled so that people could buy the game, or the game be made freeware, but obviously the developer, sinse the original pin interactive company no longer exists decided to go for freeware. Good news for anyone who wants to try the game, sinse it's worth a look even if it is a little short. On that score, the developer has said (at least in a mail to me), that he's not washing his hands of developement entirely and will hopefully be back when his Phd is done, looking at making something more modern and more replayable, so though it's freeware, it's certainly not abandonware. When I say the game has been made freeware technically what the developer has done is just stick a generic license key that will unlock the game up on the site for download. no extra setup file is needed, just download the key and unzip into your prefs folder (see the link with the announcement for details). hth. beware the Greu! Course it does, as I said, the developer hasn't made any major changes, just essentially given out a free license key to everybody, which was probably the easiest way of doing things rather than completely rejiggering the setup. This is actually just what philip did with tj releasing the reistration patch, and what Dan Z did with his games too. Go and check the site and you'll see where you can download the key to unlock the game. Terraformers is a first person adventure game set on an alien planet where you solve puzzles to recover computer parts in an effort to stop some mad robots, see http://audiogames.net/db.php?id=terraformersn The game could be longer, and more challenging (the layout is rather easy), but the sounds, audio ambience and game descriptions are top notch. it also has full, genuine 3D graphics, so if you have some vision or have a sighted person who might want to play it could be good there, though it's quite playable with just the audio, indeed the way each room is described in detail as well as the sound ambience and music of the game are some of it's strong points. hth. beware the grue! yes, that is one of the few harder parts because of the location of stuff and the changes of sound underwater. As I remember though your given the code earlier, I think it was another sound flower or a repeating sequence you heard in the room before, the hard part for me there was finding the pannel for it and then finding the part behind the gate.. There is no where where you are surrounded by walls. if you want more info, just use the command to tell you the coordinates of objects in the current room, it'll tell you where the doors are so you can easily work out where to go.
