Re: [Audyssey] The Tomb

2008-12-27 Thread Thomas Ward

Hi Eloheem,
That is exactly why I started USA Games Interactive in the first place. I
came from a completely sighted/mainstream gaming background and found most
accessible games less satisfying. Not bad, so to speak, but just not
personally satisfying. Card, puzzle, and board games are ok, but I wanted
something along the kinds of mainstream games I was playing before I lost my
sight. So the obvious solution was to create them myself since I already was
a skilled programmer.

Hi,,
Thanks. Like Tomb Raider I plan to make additional games in the series later
on. This one is a side-scroller as that is what people voted on. However,
the rest of the games in the series will get more advanced and will be
moving to a 3D FPS format.

Very nice, being someone who played Tomb Raider many years ago I can
really appreciate this one; that was indeed my favorite game, this one is
well put together, I especially like the selection of fire power and
mystical weapons; As a blind gamer, and like many other blind game

The cubes are not what is going to get you to where you need.
The key was in the same chest that you found the mask. after killing the
woman in there, you would have found a wand. you use that wand. after you
get the mask out of the chest, look in there againand you will notice
something different. that is where the key is. and if you need ot get to the
boss, I can direct you there as well. smiles

You're thinking of a different undead from what I was. I mean the undead
swordsman in the alcove not far from the entrance to the tomb. He's
 guarding
one of the four cubes, and you do have to fight him on order to get it.
 You
seem to be thinking of the one who asks you the riddle, who was probably
 a
mage judging from his description. He does give you a cube, but all you
 do
is answer his riddle correctly, and there's a big hint right there in the
 riddle.

Well you're not supposed to fight him. If you do, and

should answer the question he poses. And if you chose
not to answer, you should get another chance when you

Did you grab the iron wand from the sorceress guarding the mask? If so, head
back there, examine the chest and use the wand. The key's in there.

It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.

  You

There's really no other explanation other than the obvious one. You're,
well, not going the right way. If you can find it, the arch will always be
there. I know that's not very helpful, but I don't currently have my

Re: [Audyssey] stoneback tomb

2006-08-05 Thread Brandon Cole
Said nasty surprise can, however, be avoided if you know how. That would
be a major spoiler though.

this is my least favorite quest. I'm running in circles looking for a
 key,
or something. I don't know. I have four cubes, and a mask. roars!

He does give you a cube, but all you
 do
is answer his riddle correctly, and there's a big hint right there in
 the
 riddle.

It ain't pretty when the pretty leaves you with no place to go.

Well you're not supposed to fight him. If you do, and
won't get a second chance if you have to flee. You
should answer the question he poses. And if you chose
not to answer, you should get another chance when you
go back to him.

first off I would like to apologize for not
  trimming the message from my
  last post.
now a problem I am having with the tomb in the
  stoneback adventure.
I have had this happen twice now, and that is when
  I finally get to the
  room
with the chest in it I defeat the sorceress and get
  the mask and there is
  no
mention of the arch to get to the second level.
now I am thinking that both times I have picked up
  something from the
  undead
that I shouldn't have, I only saw the arch the one
  time and that was with
  only one stone cube.
so what am I not doing right?

I was going to ask you for that. Yours was the one I no longer have thanks
to computer crashes. Yeah, two of them. That map was lost in the first one
though.

There's really no other explanation other than the obvious one. You're,
well, not going the right way. If you can find it, the arch will always
 be
there. I know that's not very helpful, but I don't currently have my
 Stoneback map to send.
