Shame textmode isn't working, they'd certainly been up a while when i uploaded fallthru from there. I've zipped it however and stuck it on sendspace though you can find it at http://www.sendspace.com/popup_directlink.html Unusually for me, I didn't seem to have the streight zipped version I downloaded originally myself from textmode, so had to just delete the and sssl files with my saved game, then zip the hole thing. If you create a new game and start streight off it should be fine though. if text mode doesn't come back soon, perhaps someone would be kind enough to host the file more perminantly. Beware the grue! There is, but the baf's page is a bit useless compared to the one which used to be on textmode which had far more about the game. Stil, I've added a link to the audiogames.net entry, which A, gives another place to download it, and B, might encourage someone to write a review on bafs. I'd be very interested to know if any of those other games in the pc section of the If archive stand out enough from your normal Zcode and tads type stuff enough to deserve their own pages on audiogames.net too. Ok, lets see what I can do here. Possible spoilers below. The end point of the silver maze could be where the frabat is. It's the room that has a tomb in it. As for what to do there, if you haven't seen the tip since its random, I can tell you that if I remember correctly, one of the peasants claims that the key is Under the silver maze. You'll need a tool here that's used very seldom in the game. though how a peasant found out that the key was down there and why he didn't claim it for himself is beyond me, *grins*. As for the weyring maze, that one's a bit trickier. You can always get into the maze, the tough part is getting back out. Given that this one's just frustrating if you don't know the mechanic, if you haven't already figured it out I'll just tell you that you need to have full health to be able to turn the rusty wheel. You'll have to keep a lot of salve handy to accomplish this, since that maze saps health like noone's business. Once you've turned the wheel, I've found the best way to get back to the entrance is actually, surprisingly, to wander aimlessly, since the go in a single direction mechanic doesn't seem to apply here. But once you get back out, the weyring is yours. Hi Liam. First, the felven are easily overcome if you buy and use a lamp on starless nights, you just need to make certain you've got enough cash for one by then. Second, as to where you should go, well if you use the signs and the info command, you should here about some interesting places. To begin with, I suggest exploring the roads that lead from Or'gn, - and of course start by exploring the close by towns. south might be a good way to go for starters, - though you might find some interesting things on the eastward roads as well. Let me know if you want any specific information, - though I do confess I gave up on fallthru myself, sinse I got to a point where in order to progress I needed to solve two absolutely evil mazes, which i do confess rather defeated my patience. Evil mazes? I'm not much of a maze man myself, yet the only maze that trumped me was the time maze, which isn't intigral to progress and doesn't really have anything in it besides a few random valuables scattered around to my knowledge. If you're refering to the silver maze, now that one's got a trick to it, and it doesn't involve dropping items. In fact I'd be willing to bet you've been to the end point of the maze several times, you were just doing the same thing I was doing at first. If those aren't the two mazes, or if you'd like further tips on the silver maze, feel free to let me know. Mostly I'm looking for how to get the wherering, I think I've found the cave where it's at, but if I try to turn the valve it always says I'm too weak. Also, is there any way in game to get amulets aside from stealing them? And do either the bronze or silver rings do anything? Mostly I've been wandering around the various roads defeating warriors, building up a small fortune in ralls and looking for things to do without much luck. I'd rather not set off blindly into the wilds t hough without a wherering. Anyway, I like the game a lot, but killing random warriors can only get you so far, *chuckles*.
