Hi Everyone,

We need just one more positive binding vote (We have 3, but only 2 are
binding).

Could someone who is on the IPMC please take a look?

Thanks! -Marshall

Re: [VOTE] Release Apache UIMA CasEditor-2.2.2-incubating

but i've noticed another potential issue in
CasEditor-linux.gtk.x86-2.2.2-incubating.zip which i'll mention in
case
others object - there are some licenses in the top level LICENSE
file and
some other licenses in the about_files folder that are not mentioned
in the
top LICENSE file. I guess thats ok as all the legal text is included
in the
distro and other projects are now also including licenses outside of
the top
level LICENSE file but its easy to miss with then being in multiple
places
so i think it would be better to move all the legal files to the top
level

LICENSE and NOTICE files for the next release.

The other distro's look fine to me now.

Thanks, the about_files folder is generated during the RCP build
and contains licenses for plugins which are contained in the bundle.
If this it not a blocking the release we would fix this for the next
version.

Hi Niall -

We haven't (yet) adopted the maven way to generating a site. So I'm
not surprised that that didn't work. We generate our javadocs as part
of the mvn assembly:assembly (in the uima-as-dist dir) done after a mvn
install (in the uimaj-as dir). This process is consistent with how the
other projects build their javadocs for binary distros, in the UIMA
project.

We'll take a look at the maven site goal and see if it makes sense to
support it.

The bottom line here I think is to append the ICU license to the LICENSE
