Test Webpages (POST)

Hello List,

i would like to test my web page (some asp reporting feature).
My goal is to send some http/post request and check if my html response 
contains a certain string (in my case some error message).


Can i record these kind of post requests?
Since i have can all sorts of combinations with my reporting 
webapplication (about 100 combinations), i would like to simply record 
them buy doing the search manually once.

(i think AppPerfect can do this)

[Chair Nominations] Position statements

I invite each candidate to create a new subject thread with their position statement. 
I realize that this has been stated across many threads, and it would be nice to see 
in a single thread, devoted to each candidates: with maybe a subject such as:
[Position: PMC Chair Candidate name].

A new thread for each candidate, since this is likely to result in allot of back and 
forth banter.

A position statement would help me clarify my understanding of what each Candidate 
sees as their Mandate, both from the board and Jakarta.

I can see how you might see the private list as secretive, devious, or
underhanded. 

I just see a private list as a necessity, I couldn't imagine the % increase
in e-mail traffic if the pmc list was open to anyone, or it was carried
on the general list. There are enough tangential conversations on the
pmc list now, so say doubling the number of posters could increase the volume to 3-4X 
what it is now.

If you feel strongly enough about it, if you wanted to create a digest of what was 
said by sifting through all the emails here and post it on general daily that would be 
ok by me.

Not able to put classes in the class path

I have installed , tomcat 4.0.1, and i have added an context in the webapps..

but when i m trying to use the class files it is not picking up.., saying nopt found...

i have put the class files in web-inf/classes


pls help me... what to do...
