I'm just adding to the guessing game here, but as far as I know, from this year onwards the BBC are no longer in control of the cameras at Wimbledon. Therefore it's possible that the BBC have broadcast something which the LTA or other bodies involved with the tournament have asked them to edit out before making the program available to stream. As Dinky keeps reminding us, get_iplayer cannot download programmes which are not available in the iPlayer. When I looked after seeing your 2319 post (which your email client seems to have timed at 5.19pm), the iPlayer said the programmes would be available soon. I suspect the delay was caused by the huge volume of sports programmes to be processed yesterday. My version of GiP is v3.14 and has been patched for the --pid-recursive fix. But things have started to download overnight.
