[Gimp-user] Percentage of the colors?
Hi I need to know which the percentage of the colors in image (density of colors...). i.e. I will print a photo and need to know (in CMYK) the percentages, (like 12% of C, 18% of M and etc...) to calculate my cost of impression. [Gimp-user] wmf problems
Hello, my problem is regarding wmf files in GIMP. When running Gimp Version 2.1.13 on Windows XP * Some wmf files are rotated 180 degrees when loaded in GIMP * Some charaters are missing in images loaded by GIMP (swedish characters in this case) In Gimp Version 2.3.12 the first problem is resolved but the second remains. Do I miss some resource or plugin to support the character set or is there any other solution to this problem? Preferably, I would like to use the stable version 2.1.13 but the later might be ok as well. [Gimp-user] newbie selection question
I select a rose with the magic wand. The selection looks good, but there are a few leftover inside islands inside the rose, that are still not selected. I switch to the lasso, click on add to selection, and try to circle the inside islands to add them to the selection. But instead of doing this, GIMP stubbornly insists on picking up and moving the rose! If I circle something *outside* the rose, it gets added to the selection, as it is supposed to. Why won't the lasso add the inside islands to the rose selection? How can I do this? Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Well, those numbers depend on the separation process. To get an idea, you could install the separate plug-in (http://www.blackfiveservices.co.uk/separate.shtml), get a color profile from the printer, separate to CMYK and analyze the results. Not quite sure how you would do about the latter. Using the histogram might be an option, but I am afraid that there's no direct way to get that number. But I might just be missing something.
