Got the software, tried it, and it worked perfectly.
Much thanks to you for the tip. :) Now how to vary the colors? =)

AFAIK. Gimp requires the ghostscript "postcript engine" to load
Postscript prograns.
I believe that if GStools is properly instaled in windows, GIMP for
Windows should be able to load it as well.
(if don't, that's a BUG and should be treated like one)

You can download ghostscript and it's associated tools starting from:

And if you gonna try it, let me know if it still doesn't work. regards,

Title: Re: Simple Radial lines PS snippet

Hi all,

I tried using the PS snippet to do the radial lines thing, and it comes up with the error "PS: Can't interpret file."

I am using the latest gimp for windows.  Will this affect my ability to use PS snippets on gimp? Am I supposed to put it somewhere other than my desktop? Thanks

Is it for autistic kids? Sounds like something they could really use. I
could perhaps just take pics w/ my camera of whatever, royalty-free, and
you could use it for that purpose. (My son is autistic, and from the
research I've done it sounds like something parents w/ kids who have a
communication-challenged child would need/want in their home.)
What do you need pics of in particular?

As you can see from the immediate responses, there seem to be lots of us
who would like to help.

Can you tell us more about the kinds of photos you'd like? Things?
Actions? And maybe some links to tell us more about communication
boards?

Thanx,

Found in Word that if you go insert > picture > from file, then browse
for your pic, it seems to work just fine. Try that.

Subject: [Gimp-user] Inability to copy image to clipboard

I have a .tif file in GIMP. I select the image (right click, select,
all) and then I copy it to the clipboard (right click, edit, copy). In
Microsoft Word, I paste the image (edit, paste). The previous contents
of the clipboard gets copied, not the image. This is a recent problem -
in the past I was able to do the above. I can copy from GIMP to GIMP, I
can copy from Paint to Word, I can acquire a selected image from Paint
into GIMP, and I can copy from Word to Word. This seems to confirm to
me that the clipboard mechanism in my Windows installation seems to be
working. Have any users encountered issues with copying to Windows?
Should I handle this as a GIMP problem, or should I be contacting
Microsoft for support of Windows?
