[Gimp-user] rotating and making 'polar array'
Back in my autocad days, I used a tool called 'array'. Using the polar option I could rotate an object around a centre point making copies. Is there a way to do this using the Gimp? -- Neil Watson | Gentoo Linux Network Administrator | Uptime 14:46:54 up 1:45, 4 users, load average: 0.17, 0.14, 0.11 http://watson-wilson.ca | 2.6.5 AMD Athlon(tm) MP 2000+ x 2 ___ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

Yes I tried that after creating a path. I missed something though and was unsuccessful. But quite possibly, you could just use the eraser tool + shift click Yes that worked for me. Thanks for your reply. Personally, I find using the Gimp very hard. Nothing seems easy or 'natural'. Perhaps I just need more practise. -- Neil Watson | Gentoo Linux Network Administrator | Uptime 87 days http://watson-wilson.ca | 2.6.5 AMD Athlon(tm) MP 2000+ x 2 ___ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] diagonal erase
How would I go about creating a diagonal brush stroke, that erases to the background, through a coloured box? I tried using the path tool to create the diagonal line but, I can't seem to get a stroke to appear. -- Neil Watson | Gentoo Linux Network Administrator | Uptime 86 days http://watson-wilson.ca | 2.6.5 AMD Athlon(tm) MP 2000+ x 2 ___ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] Gimp, transparent PNGs and Internet Explorer
I know that IE has issues with transparent PNG files. I have noticed that it is somewhat random. Some files display correctly while others don't. Is there some type of method or work around that will create a transparent PNG file that IE will display correctly? -- Neil Watson | Gentoo Linux Network Administrator | Uptime 64 days http://watson-wilson.ca | 2.6.5 AMD Athlon(tm) MP 2000+ x 2 ___ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] Lost dialog box in main window
This is a silly question but, I'm stuck. In gimp2.0 there is a dialog that appears below the main tool window. I closed that dialog and now I can't get it back again.
