As no-one had asked the question up to now I was going to ask which version of GIMP you have installed, but this post tells me that you have a 2.8.? version, so the presumption is that Python support gets installed automatically (and isn't an installation option) Do you have the following menu entry: FiltersPython-FuConsole ? Looks like you downloaded correctly and while I would not have put it in the gimp plug-ins folder, it should still work. So when I installed it, it showed up correctly as expected under Edit - Feathered Paste. It will be grayed out till something is in the clipboard. The Image part indicates that the menu will appear in the menus you see when you have an image open and right click the image to get a menu. The menu entry you are looking for will be under the Edit menu entry of the menus which appear after right-clicking an image. -- Cheers!
